    Room addition, bathroom addition, change bedroom into bathroom
    $42,000

    Alfred's home improvements did a room addition for us and a bathroom addition including 2 skylights in the bedroom and 1 in the bathroom. They also turned one of my bedrooms into a big bathroom with a stand up shower and jacuzzi tub. They did a great job!

    Tile Flooring project and Porch Project

    I'm really surprised at the other good reviews for this contractor because my experience was awful. They were polite work with, but never actually did any work. The down payment of $3000 was collected quickly enough, but no one did any work other than to look come out and look at the worksite. I had to keep contacting them to ask if anyone would come to do the job. I'd sent photos and drawings and specs and anything that I thought would be helpful in doing a good job. I told them they could work until midnight if they needed to. No one was looking at the specs, no one showed up to work. Also, it turns out that Alfred was not going to do the job, anyway. Instead, he subcontracted to another guy who, then, subcontracted to someone else he knew who "thought" he could probably do the work. Ridiculous! My total was $8000. I'm not paying that money for someone's helper who I could hire directly myself for about $2000. On 08-27-21, I'd paid for a professional and for work to be completed by 9-18-21 for just the tile in a bathroom and an upstairs and downstairs porch to be leveled and repaired. Alfred kept promising someone would start right away but, today, it is 9-16-21 and they haven't started yet and I'm tired of asking for someone to work. I'm cancelling this project.

    We're very sorry that we couldn't get to this project. Unfortunately, due to a knee operation from one of our main employees, things got backed up but she's back in full swing now and we don't plan on something like this happening again. But again, we are very sorry for what happened with Ms Anders, we really did want to do her job because we know that she would have been very happy with the work itself.
