It was a waste of time and money. I paid $2,200 and the contract reads "change out rotton fasior board and fix 4 leaks on main house, flat roof". The fascia board has been replaced and a tiny leak no longer leaks. After five months, four visits and repeated calls to get someone back out, I still have three bad leaks and the flat roof has not been touched. However, he ripped out a section of the main roof, replaced the decking and reapplied the old felt and shingles as I repeated told him he was fixing the wrong spot. I also have a lot of tar shoved under random shingles. I can not repair the seven foot hole where my ceiling collapsed on my sofa as I still have a bucket catching the rain water every time it rains a little. I also have a bucket on my bed and on the top of my mother's heirloom corner cabinet. The roofer wanted me to pay him $200 to put a piece of sheet rock over the seven foot hole and pay his son $100 to cut my grass. I still have to get another roofer to fix the three bad leaks and the soft spot on the flat roof. I am 73 and on social security so this is a serious hardship for me.
