    I hired this company to do an office remodel and I was told it would be 4-5 days of work. Ended up being 10 weeks. The whole time it was difficult to get updates from the owner. He made many mistakes with the permit office and forgetting to order supplies...and NEVER ONCE called us to apologize or give updates.

    Hired All American Construction based on their submitted bid. Bid was awarded for a 17,000 sq ft metal building addition to our existing building. The project started 4 years ago. The initial bid was increased by 100% 4 years latter...they low bid the project. The project should have taken a year at the most. It was stalled by shear incompetence in getting permits. All American demanded payment upfront for any subcontractor they hired. Subcontractors started coming directly to us and asked to be paid directly by us since. All American was not paying them even though we paid for the work upfront. We confronted All American Construction in a face to face meeting. They refused to answer our questions. We fired them and brought a lawsuit against All American. One unpaid sub is demanding $ 47,000 payment which we already paid.

    DO NOT select this contractor for any major remodel project you may have. I should have read the reviews more carefully before making my selection. Even one critical review should be a warning sign to anyone who is planning any project but since there a difference with smaller project I would say anyone that is doing a project over $5,000. Hired them to remodel our home. After over 6 months duration and over 1900 hours (that is 12 weeks at 40 hours per week for a 4 man crew) they just finished the rough in and passed inspection. I finally had to bring in other workers to complete this job. With the money I paid AAC plus the money I spent on materials and other contractors the project will cost well over $200,000 for remodel of a 1700 square foot home.
