I had AAE reroof my house and garage after hail damage. I have roofed a few houses in my time, and I have gotten the shingles straighter than they did, and I'm a 63-year-old woman. I should have gotten on a ladder when they started, to look. I am not at all happy with the quality of the work, and I still regret choosing them. They left the yard and the inside of the garage a mess, leaving old shingle debris and old nails all over the garage surfaces, which I had to clean up.
They also resided my house, and again, I'm truly disappointed and regretful. He had trouble finding siding I liked, and I had to pick something I didn't really care for. There are pieces falling off less than a year later, and we had talked about putting something under the siding to help support it, which he said he'd do, but since the siding is falling off, I can tell he didn't put it under there. He also didn't close out the permit, so I had to.
There are other things that were estimated that he didn't do, and he also didn't return the insurance papers that list all the things he agreed to fix. Run (don't walk) away from this contractor.
