I would not hire this company, ALL CITY REMODELING from Peabody MA if it was the last one on earth. This company sucks!! And Gerald Casaletto doesn’t care about your safety when doing work on your house!!!
I had a house fire in 2006 and had All City Remodeling rebuild my house. The old house was built in the 1900s and much of the old structure was not up to the standard codes that we have today so the house had to be designed around the existing foundation as that was the only thing that was saved from the fire…..or so I thought!!! Since the house was on a hilly part of the city, a lot of ledge was in and around the neighborhood and much of the house around had a lot of ledge. After moving back into the house, I started noticing that some of the dry wall was incomplete especially around the top pf the door frames. I kind of said to myself, it can be easily fixed. There were some other things that were minor but yet a nuisance… But what made me post this review is that I decided to sell my house this year and after accepting offer for the asking price, we went through the normal inspections and when the building inspector came to the house, he suggested to the potential buyers to get a structural engineer as he saw something in the basement that didn’t look right. When the structural engineer came, I had given him the blue prints of the house as the builder, All City Remodeling gave me when he finished build my house. He notice that there were some Lally Columns that were missing that from the blue prints should have been there. He also notice some beams bowing to left and cracked. The structural engineer said that there was about $15,000 to $22,000 worth of work needed to fix the structure and foundation of the house but also there was some damage to the retaining wall and concrete walk way. I have had 4 cracked windows that were unexplained in the last 2 years….. now that I know… it was from the house leaning and shifting….. When I called the building company, All City Remodeling, I had to call a few times to actually speak to the builder, his name is Gerald Casaletto, who when I told him the foundation and structure issues that were found in the house from him not putting these Lally Columns in caused, he told me “I should he happy and thanking him as he gave me move square footage in the house than I had in the old house”…….. I said what good is more square footage when the structure and foundation is not good???? Needless to say this company and Gerald Casaletto didn’t care about the safety of my house or my family and friends being in the house all the while he knew that the structure was not safe. I can’t believe this company did this and that they are still in business……I also lost $22,000 in the sale of my house…. All I can say is that anyone that had work completed my this company or this General contractor, please get an inspection….he may have done this to you too………..

We cannot say enough about our positive experience working with Jimmie and his crew from All City Remodeling. We remodeled an attic space including a full bathroom, and we couldn’t be more pleased with how everything turned out. He is the real deal: honest, reliable, detailed, and communicative. All City Remodeling not only met but exceeded our expectations. Without a doubt, we’ll be calling Jimmie for any and all future projects!
