Sounds like I'm another disatisfied customer that has experienced much of the same as other recent reviewers. Deposit paid over a year ago (issues with the county finally resolved in October 2022) and still no pergola even after being promised multiple times to no avail. I'm going to file a complaint with the BBB today along with starting a civil or small claims lawsuit against him, his company, and his wife. I suggest we all do this so he can no longer take advantage of future potential customers. Richard Shepard can not be trusted. DO NOT GET SCAMMED BY THIS MAN!
Suggesting all dissatisfied customers need to file a Consumer Fraud Complaint with the Maricopa Attorney General's Office. Let's start a class action suit against him in case he files for bankruptcy.

I have used Richard in the past and he did a good job on our pergola. Don't know what is going on with him we signed a contract back in March of 2022 still waiting on November going to file fraud on Monday police dept, ROC, and Attorney General's office also!!!

They will take your money, and disappear,
Its a shame I can't give less than one star.
At least 7 families in my community have a contract with this Richard all paid 50% down for there pergola Some people have been waiting form March, now we have to find other means of recourse,

FRAUD ALERT!!!!! If I could give zero stars I would. Richard came out and gave us a bid on a pergola in Feb 0f 2023. He was in communication for a little bit then, just fell off the face of the earth. His wife Jennefer was in contact with me for a bit. She kept giving us bogus stories and excuses as to why he wasn't in touch. We contacted the Maricopa ROC and filed a complaint. We found out there is a criminal investigation into him and his unlicensed company. He had done so many homes in our neighborhood and came with good reviews we thought it was a solid company. There have been several others I have spoken to in the same boat. I hope he gets his!
