This company bids jobs over their Monetary Limit as licensed by the Contractors Board. In our case, the bid was $14,983.; which when confronting the owner with this information he replied, "well you had electrical, too." This would have made the 3 lights, which WE purchased and the 4 hours the electrician was there cost us $4,983.00!!! Albeit, the company neglected to add electrical to the plans they submitted to the city; this was done retroactively. Now, the City Inspector cannot sign off on the cover as it was not built to code. We are over 4 months in to this nightmare.......off to the Contractor Board we go........
