    I had viewed a re-roof in our manufactured home park that Allen Exterior had done. It looked good to me.

    So, needing a roof replaced in October, I included them in my requests for quotes from 3 different companies.

    The quote Mark (the owner of Allen Exterior Remodeling) was by far the most detailed and comprehensive quote on what needed to be done, the materials to be used, and the time frame to do it.

    Mark was very happy to share his ideas and reasoning on both the scope of work and material selection.

    It was a bonus that the quoted price was very reasonable.

    The roof was done in a timely manner as the weather permitted (late fall). Mark kept me informed of every step. His crew was always very professional.

    I have no hesitations in recommending Allen Exterior Remodeling.

    Membrane roof repair

    Mark and his crew are fantastic! I highly recommend them.
    At the beginning of September, I started repair work on my post-and-beam, flat-roofed, Mid-Century Modern home. The damage was more extensive than I realized and it became necessary to cut back our membrane roof to access rotted wood that needed to be replaced. Unexpectedly, I now needed an experienced company to repair the roof after the carpentry work was completed. I called quite a few companies but being September in Portland they were all booked solid and none were interested in my piddly repair job. Luckily, I called Mark of Allen Exterior Remodeling, they came to the rescue and figured out how to shoehorn my repair into their schedule and secure my roof for the winter season. Mark had a couple of his guys come to my house after working on their scheduled job. Gaspar and Jonathan were on time, did a great job, and cleaned up afterward. Two days later, my roof was winter-ready. I could not be more grateful. I would not hesitate to hire them again.     I would highly recommend Mark and his crew. They are knowledgable, polite and efficient. I contracted with him for siding replacement, a new deck and painting of my home. Mark is an attentive listener and addresses all of my concerns. All work was spelled out in the contract and all work was done above and beyond my expectations. As a matter of fact, Mark and his crew show much pride in their craftsmanship that when an issue arose that was not discovered until after the deck replacement was started, he made the correction needed for my familys own safety now and for years to come, and he did so at no additional cost because he stated: " it was the right thing to do".

    I am very pleased with Mark and his company and would recommend him to anybody...
