  Foundation and drainage system

  I have recommended Alan to many people without reservation because I know him to be capable, trustworthy and timely. Alan has done many jobs for me both big and small. I have always been satisfied with his work, his work ethic, and advice. He did my roof, he rebuilt my foundation, he put a drainage system in to eliminate my very wet basement, and pinpointed the problem with my furnace. I have never had a bad experience with Alan or his work. Five stars for Alan.

  Add an extension to my home

  The worst experience!!! Look elsewhere. I had an extension built onto my home. Mr. Kidd got the job because he said he would be here through the whole job. Not true! There were weeks, maybe longer that he wasn't here. My roof is not straight. The cedar shakes are popping out. He said he will not remove them to fix them. He will only nail them down. I could do that myself!! Why would I want to see nails on new siding? The ceiling cracked, the sinks leaked (he fixed this by taking out a part that was not leaking and now I have a brand new double sink vanity where the stoppers do not match! I asked him to return the original piece, he would not.) . He was here 3 times for the leak because he "didn't want to tighten it too much." He also told me it was normal for a new sink to leak! I've never experienced this before. The floor where the new extension butts up to the old is not level, the threshold is in two pieces instead of one, looks terrible and moves when you walk on it causing the tiles to crack. I is not level and people have tripped on it. He told me to call my insurance company. This is a short list of complaints. Most likely I will be seeing him in court :(
