By a user in Saint PaulSeptember 11, 2017taping drywall that I had hung$1,750
I hired Alliance to tape 62 sheets of drywall I hung in my basement, and I could not be more pleased! Dan and Randy did outstanding work, and I can’t even imagine a higher quality outcome! Over the years I’ve done few remodeling projects in my own homes, and these guys were by far the best I’ve worked with. With their 40 years of experience, they’re so skilled in applying mud that they hardly needed to do any sanding. They used a high intensity light to examine every square inch of the four areas plus closets, and their price was great. I will definitely hire them again!

I had a brand new home with poor tape lines from building contractor in our lower level and stairwell ceilings. I didn't want to pay for pristine work and Alliance was reasonably priced. Dan was offended when I used my light to review his work on our 500+ sq ft project. I stopped looking at his work, paid him and later reviewed the ceiling completely. Their was an area in our stairwell which was mudded yet unsanded. Texting, being a preferred method of communication, I texted to see if he could come out and quickly fix it this area. Dan's response to me was, "get a grip" I didn't need pristine work but I didn't expect this reaction to a reasonable request.

Dan was hired under belief that he had a business called Alliance Drywall. Now that he has done poor work, demand cash from my daughter saying he was "done", promised to fix any issues "no problems" then when showed many issues Dan agreed were not done right he starting using profanity saying we wanted to rip him off for wanting a "Edina designer job". He became irate. After refusing to make any repairs, the walls and ceiling were not ready to paint, as promised when he left. When he left the house screaming profanities he then hung out in his black truck for a long time in a menacing way. I would not hire this guy or his company (if there is one). He uses intimidation to try to get by with bad workmanship
