My experience with Allied has been nothing like the video they show you when they are trying to get your business. I signed a contract with them months ago, only the windows have been completed. There was even a problem there. The contractor would installed the windows was very professional and courteous, but work was delayed because he was having an issue with Allied. I have emailed and left three voicemails trying to get information regarding the status of my project, no one has responded to emails or voicemails. I am now in the process of getting back monies they charged me for work that was never completed, and finding a new contractor. WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER! Nolan Ryan might want to look a little closer to companies he endorses.

The initial consultation with Tom was great. We discussed the need for HOA Approval and that they would want copies of the permits, and I felt confident in my selection when I received the formal quote a couple of days later. The credit approval process was quick and we were on our way to the HOA for approval.
I was in touch with your company every step of the way regarding the status of the HOA approvals. When I spoke with Jesse the first week of December and we set a tentative start date of Dec 15th I expected that the necessary steps to start construction would have been taken at that time, which they were not. Jesse sounded shocked when I contacted him to confirm we had HOA approval and I mentioned that they needed a copy of the permit. Almost as though he didn't think permits were needed even though we had them built into the estimate?
At that point he indicated he would handle the permits the week of the 15th but it was past 12/28 when he dropped paperwork off for us to fill out to get the permits. After discussing with him what was truly needed and a couple of Internet searches I was able to get him the documents on the 30th and a week later (Jan 6th) we finally had he permits to begin.
Things started off ok with a couple of guys arriving on Saturday to dig the holes for the footings and install the supports. They did a good job and even cleaned up after themselves that day. I thought to myself "whew, looks like we picked right after all". On Monday the construction began, but much later in the day than anticipated. And that theme carried forward the entire project. With the crew not even arriving until mid-afternoon and then working into the dark when I am trying to relax at the end of my day. We were also told by Jessie it would only take a few days. It was almost two weeks of watching my back yard become a dumping ground for empty fast food bags, dirt that should have been removed from the yard when the posts were dug and ongoing construction.
Additionally the Quality of finishing has left a LOT to be desired. With mismatched seams, incorrectly cut gaps in the hardie planking (which we had to tell them to replace), poorly installed roofing materials which we were told would "smooth out in the heat" and I am still concerned over the actual alignment of), and a ceiling which I would expected to be flat and seamless but is not. The columns were also slightly twisted which from a finishing standpoint once the brick was installed made it very obvious, and they were not going to address until my husband offered advice on how to do it to help hide the issue. I believe had we not personally pointed out many of the deficiencies would not have been corrected.
I am confident that the structural portion of this is great but every time I open the door I am going to see a poorly finished ceiling and worry about the roof. If it does not "smooth out" in the summer I expect you to return to correct. After spending more than $10,000 that is not what you would hope for.

I think your crew is out of their league and almost wonder if this was subcontracted out to an unlicensed group of daytime hourly workers...that's the level of professionalism I feel was in place. At this point I do not want to prolong what can no longer be modified and just call it done.
