Do not hire Kevin Almond even to build a dog house for you. He makes promises he has no intention of keeping and never came close to staying on schedule in building our house but constantly wanted more money. When we finally moved in,months behind schedule and after having to live in a hotel over Christmas, it was to an unfinished house with poor workmanship. We have spent over a year and our money trying to fix and finish what was supposed to be our dream house. He should never be allowed to have anything to do with construction. If I could give a negative rating it still wouldn't be low enough! Do not hire him ever!

I can not express enough how you should never ever hire Kevin Almond to do any work for you! He builds homes with the cheapest material possible, and they fall apart. I bought a home from him in 2018, and it was brand NEW construction. Within one week of moving in rain water started literally POURING from the ceilings onto the floors. I immediately reached out to him as the home was less than a year old and it had a warranty. That was over 2 years ago. Since then the problem has gotten worse and worse and worse, and Kevin has made up every story in the book as to why. First he said it was a bad window, and then it was storm damage, and wind damage, and now it "just happens to some houses." Meanwhile my son can no longer sleep in his room because as soon as it starts to rain, the water POURS into his room, down the walls, into the carpet, and more. Kevin proceeded to tell us on the phone today to go ahead and sue him. So, guess what we are doing???? DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!
