If you’re reading this review you’re probably considering to purchase a house from this builder. This builder has an alert on this website for no active license on file.. Yes, in Texas you do not need to be a licensed builder but I feel it is extremely important. In my case, I had to file arbitration against the builder due to the unbelievable bad quality of workmanship. This builder talked a good game about being very customer oriented and would respond quickly to any issues. After closing, he responded a few times but when shown the magnitude of the poor workmanship he quickly ignored my calls. Ultimately, the arbitrator instructed this unprofessional builder to repair approximately 20 defects. In addition, he was ordered to reimburse the cost for me to file for arbitration. I really regret choosing this builder.

This builder is very unprofessional. I had to file arbitration against him due to the fact he did not want to fix several defects listed in the warranty book that we both signed at closing. The arbitrator overwhelmingly ruled in my favor instructing the builder to repair approximately 20 defects. In addition, the builder had to reimburse my filing fee. Without a doubt, the biggest mistake of my life was choosing this builder. He is rude and uses materials like pine for trim and oil paint on cabinets, doors and trim. My cabinets turned yellow within months. Some other things he did not want to fix before the arbitration hearing included broken stucco, stained stucco, cracked stucco, trim separating from the front door, scratched front door which the arbitrator indicated was the result of poor workmanship. Blemished mirror and light fixture, gouges, nicks and scratches on cabinets and trim, drywall cracks and imperfections, electrical outlet plates not level, nail protruding from the exterior trim, missing caulk, etc. I even replaced missing shingles due to the fact he wanted to wait until the arbitration decision letter. He saw the missing shingles at the arbitration and refused to offer to fix until the arbitrators ruling almost 6 weeks later. I definitely do not want anyone to go through what my family went through .

I saw the previous reviews and was hesitant to move forward, but I'm so happy I did. The builder was more than hospitable and professional. I love my new home and even recommended this builder to family and friends and they have started the process with ALSA. They were even able to alter plans for a friend who needed to stay within budget but still have the most beautiful home. If you're hesitant then definitely have a consultation with them. My experience was 10 out of 10 and will continue to recommend.
