Altamaha Construction Co., Inc. was founded in 1987 by
Lewis Strickland. Since the time of its founding Altamaha
Construction Co., Inc. has grown to become one of Southeast
Georgia’s most respected construction enterprises.
Altamaha Construction Co., Inc. brings to bear some of the
areas most talented and innovative designers and craftsmen
to ensure each project we embark upon will have a construc-
tion team that will execute each project in a timely and
professional manner. Our goal is to exceeds the homeowner’s
expectations for their project in both quality of service and
cost.
We want to be your design/build contractor. Design/ build is
a process where the complete project from the initial design,
budgets, permits, the construction, final walk-through, etc.,
are all organized, managed and performed by one company.
As a result of a single company handling all aspects of the
project, there is a single point of responsibility.
The efficiency of the design/build process affords us an
opportunity for tight control of design, construction and costs.
It also gives us effective management of the construction
schedule and a quick turnaround between design, construc-
tion and completion. It gives you the comfort in knowing that
you only have one call to make if you have any problems,
questions, or concerns.

The contractor only shows up when it was time to collect money, he bought the cheaper material for the church bathroom and the under contractor he hired never completed the job, I had to hire someone else to finish the job. I will never hire or recommend him to anyone.
