I would NOT recommend Tony with Altamont Fence at all. I used his services about 15 years ago and he did a great job with re-building my old fence. As a result I contacted him in April 0f 2018 to build a section of my fence and gate. I did not take the time to check his license with the CA Contractors State License Board and now I see that it is expired. The new number that is posted on this Buildzoom website is for a Topline Shower Doors & Mirrors Inc. Back to my recent encounter. On 5/25/18 Tony completed the agreed upon work and did not provide me with any receipt. I sent him a text within a few days that the gate was not working correctly and he repaired on 6/1/18. I asked him for a receipt and it was at this time that he gave me a hand written receipt without any license number. For the next 2 months I sent him 8 texts, calls and/or videos showing him how the gate was not working properly once again. He always replied with a date that he would be coming back to repair. He NEVER showed up and will not answer any phone, text or written correspondence from me. I am left with a horrible gate that I have to lift up to open. What a waste of money and I hope you pass up on Tony with Altamont fence as you can do better.
