Done a handful of jobs on the house through different contractors and this company is easily the best one. He will help you every single step of the way. Starting from walking you through the house, selecting materials at the store, suggesting opinions/input, constant updates throughout the whole process, and even finishing touches that are outside of your project. He fixed a patch on a carpet that was outside of his work. He did baseboard work that was outside of his area that happened to connect to the living room. His ETA for the project was spot on too. It's insane how much detail and work ethic Eli and his company has. My wife and I love him so much that we are legit planning another project with him in the future. 100% recommend. I don't normally post reviews and I just had to for Eli.

We recently hired Alter Construction to replace and paint all the doors in our house, as well as to frame our TV cabinet, and the results were nothing short of spectacular!

We had an amazing experience with Alter Construction having our bathroom shower remodeled. There was a little bit of a rocky start to the process when selecting the materials for the work, my wife and I had never been through a remodeling project before and were overwhelmed with the amount and specifics of materials that needed to be picked out. However, after getting some help and a bit of hand holding we were able to get all the materials selected and construction set a date to start construction.
The construction process was a dream. We spoke to Eli everyday during the construction process, he would give updates and explain in detail how things were going. When changes were needed, Eli explained the reason for the change and layed out all of the options as well as gave his personal recommendations. There was also a week that my wife and I were out of town (my brother was staying at the house) Eli called and texted everyday with updates and pictures of the work. During the construction process, the crew that was here working throughout the day was very polite and courteous.
We are so extremely happy with the finished shower, we love it so much. I cannot express enough about how happy we are about the work that was done, the crew, and about Eli. I would highly recommend and am looking forward to reaching out to Eli and Alter Construction if we decide to have any more work done around the house.

Eli with Alter Construction is an amazing GC to work with. My husband and I wanted to change out the the shower door and floor of our master bathroom. This was a small job and most GCs refused to do anything less than the entire bathroom. We spoke to someone regarding replacing the shower door and that person (Hero, with Shower Doors Today) referred us to Eli for the tile work. Eli was exceptional to work with. He spoke with us and told us step by step what to expect and what needed to be done, including any worse case scenarios that may arise. They began work within a few days. Luis, his main tile worker, was punctual and very respectful and worked efficiently and diligently. Despite not being able to use my bathroom for several days, this was an overall pleasant experience. We still need to get the door installed which will happen in a week but the tile work is beautiful and I can't wait to use my shower once everything is complete. Thank you Eli and Luis!

This is the second time we have used Alter Construction, and again they have surpassed our expectations! Our roof needed replacing after discovering years of hail damage. Alter Construction quickly met our insurance company’s estimate and began work within a day of signing the contract. The crew arrived early and had the roof stripped and replaced by noon the same day, taking every scrap of debris with them. We even made a last-minute change to the color of the shingles and they said “no problem”. Eli and Cynthia made this a positive experience. They are easy to reach, easy to talk to, professional at all times, and actually care about the work they do. Thank you, Eli and Cynthia.

My garage had been crashed into, and it was in shambles. Both of my vehicles were stuck in that garage, and I was stressed.

One day and a phone call later, and Eli and his team had gotten my vehicles out and they started immediately setting up a timetable for all of the other work. From there on out, I never needed to call Eli because he was always diligent in calling me to give updates, and every goal was completed on time. The work was done impeccably and it exceeded all of my expectations!

The experience with Alter Construction turned what had been a nightmare into an amazing experience. Our hot water heater had burst and ruined all our floors, necessitating replacing them along with some Sheetrock and all the baseboards. My wife and I have been renovating our home for the past 3 years on our own but really wanted a professional to do our master bathroom. We met with, got quotes and walked through this project with several contractors before landing on Alter and we are so glad we did! Eli and his team are amazing to work with. Incredible communication, high quality work and really made sure all our needs were met. We were very specific on what we wanted and Alter delivered. They converted our standalone shower and deep soaking tub into one giant shower. Then installed our new vanity, lights and did all the drywall, trim and baseboard work. A complete master bathroom renovation. Alter is very detail oriented and strive for perfection. The tile work was phenomenal with each tile being placed perfectly and grout lines perfectly done. At the end of every day Eli came by to check the work and make sure we were satisfied and lay down the plans for the next day. During this time there were a few things that weren't exactly how we wanted and he made sure that it got corrected before they moved forward. They made sure we were always happy with their work. Also, Eli is a pretty funny guy!

Eli from Alter construction and his crew are very professional, easily accessible and understanding. The floor installation was done extremely efficiently. My home almost feels like new. They are open to suggestions and worked as per my schedule. They are my go to team for any future upgrades / remodeling.

After my sister recommended Alter I decided to hire them to do my kitchen and it was the right decision, I couldn't be happier with how my Kitchen turned out! They have great craftsman who did a beautiful job. They showed up each day on time until the job was completed. After a lot of research for a contractor, I found Alter Construction and I saw that they had a really nice reviews, so I call to set up an appointment and next day Eli came to see the job. I instantly felt comfortable with him. He is very knowledgeable and he explained me all the process for me to know what to expect. Once the work started I notice their crew cleaned every day before the left, and Eli told me the schedule and sending me pictures of every stage of the work. So I can say I had a very smooth and very enjoyable experience working with them. I would absolutely recommend Alter Construction for your remodeling project.

I hired Eli from Alter Construction to build a new deck and to do some landscaping work that I needed. The first thing I liked about him is that he was very responsive and he answered all the questions that I had. He gave me suggestions for the materials and design, and he even went to get me some samples for me to be more comfortable of my choices. Everything was done on time, I am more than happy with the final result. I actually need some more work done at my home and I will hire Alter Construction in a heartbeat.
