Our home was reroofed by Alton Roofing and I would never recommend doing business with this company. Overall they were unprofessional and untimely in completing the project. From start to finish the office mgr (Kim) seemed to not communicate well with the contractors, so the job was rescheduled once due to confusion as to when the job was to start and when the trash bin would be delivered for the old shingles and debris. The communication was very poor and felt combative at times to get our point across as it is our home and we needed to make sure one of us was home during the installation. At the end we had black debris in the cracks of the walkway entrance and and was scolded when I asked them to clean it up. Instead the Project Mgr (Tim) said we should have known to put all of our things away in the garage, when it was under a foyer, which was covered, so it made little sense to us. That is something that should have been communicated by the person who scheduled the job, not once, but twice. Overall, our experience was extremely poor. Communication is key and Alton Roofing acts as if they make every effort, but the team lacks in professionalism from the very start.
