    Repair separating rafters
    $1,600

    I just used this service provider. He was recommended to me by a realtor at a competing brokerage. He was prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable on how to remedy a unique issue with my client's rafters. A structural engineer that was involved in the project was impressed by Hector's knowledge and work. Hector's follow through was second-to-none. Great communication. The other reviews on this page read like grudges being played out. Don't believe them--this guy is solid.

    Demo only

    2018- I referred Hector Luna for a demo job in Lakeway prior to myself even being hired as the GC by a company that, unknown to me at the time was filing for Bankruptcy. He himself, was NOT present 60-70% of the time, while the 4 man crew did a partial demo job (roughly 60 % complete). To make matters worse, the crew was doing demo on things that were not part of the job one morning and Hector was nowhere to be found. I texted him immediately and asked where he was. He replied, on my way. At the end of the week, this guy had the nerve to give me an invoice for $6,000 of demo for a weeks worth of work for 4 men. I immediately disputed the charges and offered to pay him roughly $3800.00 which was the amount due after adjustments (Which included 2 Faucet fixtures and Sinks that were taken from the jobsite by either himself or his crew--Theft)
    Then he Certified letters to myself and the Owners of an Affidavit for Claim to $6,000 for "Labor and nails for framing, cornice and decking". I disputed that Affidavit as he did NOT do such work on this house.
    Meanwhile while all this is happening, I am getting Harassment calls from some office from Dallas claiming to be represent Hector Luna.
    I disputed the charges and offered the $3,800 to that individual via email and sent a Waiver Release form to go with the email ...NO Reply!
    He filed an Affidavit Lien on the property for the full $6,000.
    One month later, he goes to the Lakeway Police department and filed a "Theft of Services" against myself. WITHOUT my defense or written reply and/or statement of any kind- The Lakeway Police department puts a warrant out for my arrest. SERIOUSLY people--
    This Hector Luna is a Crook and a Fraud!
    His MO is to file Affidavit Liens on Properties to EXTORT $ from businesses and individuals. He has done SEVEN (7) Filings since 2014 alone (I've gotten copies of all 7 from Public Records).....and based on the 2 previous write-ups- How many more innocent people fell VICTIM to this Crook?
    I am filing a Lawsuit against Hector Luna and Prestige Framing in October 2018 and would like to have any and all other parties participate in bringing this man to Justice. The more witnesses with claims, the better.

    build a garage and deck

    We hired Hector Luna to build us a free standing garage for us. We paid him in advance 2000.00 towards a 4000.00 garage in September of 2016. Finally in April of 2017 he started the job. Hector pleaded with us for more money and out of good faith we paid him an additional 3000.00 to complete the garage and some work on a deck. Hector refuses to answer my calls, show up or respond in anyway possible. I call him on different line and talk with him and he only promises he intends to complete the job. He never shows. As of February 26, 2018 we still do not have a complete garage which has been wide open to the elements for almost a year.
    I do NOT recommend Hector. Also, his help make terrible mistakes and are lazy.

    We hired Hector Luna with Prestige Framing to perform all framing work associated with building our home. On numerous occasions he said he would complete something by a certain date and failed to do so constantly, his crew made numerous mistakes and subsequently wasted a significant amount of material at our cost, crew did no show up for days without warning, set us behind by about a month despite the fact we had other crews lined up for other work, he did not show up to the job site except when he sought a payment despite our request to pay closer attention to his crew and the work. I have seen these same complaints by other people on other websites. Do NOT recommend him.
