Hired John to paint 2 houses, gave him 50% upfront. After starting in August, he was usually a no-show or would work only 3-4 hours. Came twice beginning of October for a few hours, never saw him again. In November asked for half of my deposit back since, he was less than a quarter through the job. Never heard from him again.
