Our experience could not had gone any worse than it did, due to the fact that the end was a nightmare. Aside from not making our home’s dimensions ( height of ceilings, dimensions of home) he dropped the ball and blamed everyone instead of taking ownership of his mistakes. We bought high end vanities that were not installed correctly, never finished a number of items even though was told to do some things correctly ( by us and inspector) and fix what was incorrect. Did he? No! His excuse for this is that we were in cahoots with the inspector of the city…. What! Yes. He installed the wrong windows, he had open rain to install an attic ladder access and was not able to do so, and handed me a 9 foot ladder to use, never used all the trim that was purchased for the kitchen cabinets. Could not and did not adjust our “ cheap kitchen cabinets” his words. Built a short porch without a finished ceiling and now I am unable to finish the ceiling because it is too short and would cover the exterior door and trim. He would change sub-contractors without informing us after the fact that we would have agreed on an HVAC strategy with the initial HVAC subcontractor and of course it was a much worse job. Our house has a difference of 15° from the front and the back. This is only perhaps 10% of all the horror that we witnessed and were told aside from people throwing in items in his dumpster and he’s blaming us seems that money was the only thing that kept him barely working and coming back was the fact that he wanted to get paid but once he got the big bulk of the payments, he took off and would not come back. I could go on and on, but this is one of those stories that you hear about and can’t believe it this is perhaps 10% of the horror and unprofessional job that he provided for us. He walked out of the job and owes us at least $40,000 to rectify his incompetent work.
