    Last year, American Building Dynamics(ABD) installed (1) new exterior shutter to my home and repaired damage to my neighbor's siding. Severe weather conditions blew my shutter off and subsequently damaged my neighbors siding. I took responsibility of the matter and covered all damages.

    Once again, during severe weather conditions, the same shutter blew off and caused damage to my neighbors siding. I reached out to American Building Dynamics regarding the situation and was advised that my warranty had expired. Business is business… I understand this. Their customer service and response time had been pristine with me, so I made an appointment. An ABD estimator arrived to assess the damages in a timely manner and proposed to install (1) new exterior shutter in new holes. This is interesting. Where were these new holes during the initial shutter replacement? It is clearly visible that the holes had not been adjusted during the first work order.

    I have placed numerous calls to American Building Dynamics and I have requested to speak to management. Each time I called I was advised, "he'll call you back in 10 minutes." Ten minutes has transitioned to hours and now, days. At this time, the manager of American Building Dynamics is refusing to speak with me at all. Moreover, through his staff, who has been nothing short of pleasant and professional, he has stated that the company is not responsible for any damages. Since when are paying customers not worthy of a conversation? What is the point of having a management/leadership level, if you are not willing to address the issues and concerns of the customer base?

    I spent hard earned money with American Building Dynamics and I will continue to seek evenhandedness. However, I am fundamentally forced to take my business elsewhere and I strongly suggest that you do the same.
