American Craftsmen, King Builders is one of the most reliable, honest and responsive contractors I have ever conducted business with, from performing a major upgrade to minor repairs for my home in Chatham New Jersey. My son met Mr. King at a contractor show around the time I was looking to upgrade my house and suggested I speak with him. I had spoken to several contractors but was rather skeptical of most I met. In any event, I requested all to submit their bids for this large renovation. After reviewing all, I selected Mr. Kings proposal which I believed clearly defined my objectives with the upgrade, was the fairest and most honest proposal. The work he and his team performed was outstanding, they were extremely professional, followed up with me constantly to keep me informed of progress, potential changes or recommendations. His projected schedule and estimates were right on target and worked closely with me on any changes or additions I requested. His team worked constantly on my project never leaving me to believe I wasn't their highest priority. They cleaned up every night when they completed their work and were extremely polite to me and my family. Mr King met with me weekly to make sure I was pleased with the project and keep me aware of the projects progress and how we were working within the projected budget in his proposal. His sub-contractors were all very professional and worked under his guidance and performed outstanding work. At the end of the project I couldn't be more pleased or satisfied, my house became one of the most beautiful houses in Chatham Township. I have used Tom for numerous projects since that major renovation over the years and highly recommend him for any new or existing home building or upgrades.
