On 06/o1/19 We were scammed by a person by the name JOSHUA CRUZ (719 waltham ave) he was representing your Company: AMERICAN HERO ( 661 w. Lancaster RD) . He and his friend Eduardo R. Velasquez offered roofing services to us . Joshua claimed we could pay NOTHING for having our roof replaced then We believed in him, however we found out later all these promises he made to us were just to convince us to sign an agreement. ..surely , part of a roofing scam. (we did not know this was a scheme since Joshua talked to us about wind and hail that hit my area not long ago. Joshua almost swore to us he could win this case against insurance Company).
Joshua is very good in deceiving people. I am 62 years old I will never forgive myself for allowing a young guy like Joshua Cruz to deceive me like this, maybe I got too excited to get a "free" roof replacement.
Now, few months later, different people from your company keep calling us threatening us by saying they are going to put our house on lien. They said they could do so because we signed an agreement.
They put pressure on us as hard as they could. Actually, we signed such agreeement because we trusted in your company, we thought you guys were honest. BIG MISTAKE ON OUR PART!!
Jeremiah 17:5 This is what the LORD says: “Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the LORD.
My question is: Did you know all these things were going on in your company?
If you did not know about it , you should take responsability for all the damage Joshua made to us or to somebody else. However if you knew all about these things and did nothing to fix these problems then SHAME ON YOU! PROBABLY, THE ONLY THING YOU DID WAS TO REPLACE YOUR EMPLOYEES SO THERE WILL BE NO WITNESSES AROUND ANYMORE .
MR. PHELAN YOU ABANDONED YOUR CUSTOMERS WHO WERE DECEIVED BY JOSHUA. (Please, if this is the case, do not go around claiming you are a Christian cause YOU ARE NOT. GOOD CHRISTIANS DO NOT DO THIS KIND OF THING TO THEIR NEIGHGBOORS AND BROTHERS!! YOU THINK JUST ABOUT YOURSELF!!!)
Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven".
We cant afford to pay all this amount, but we are going to pay, BE SURE, THIS CASE WILL REST AT THE LORDS HAND!!!(Probably you will lose more money than we lost due to this fraudulent activity , We can cal it "HAIL AND WIND SCAM").
You can not deceive people and Get Away With It ...Psalm 139: No Escape From God . One of the greatest truths in life which we all know, but which we all must come to learn, is that there is no escape from God. Like fugitives, we may run, but we cannot ultimately hide from the God who penetrates even the darkness with the gaze of His light.

I recently had my roof replaced by American Hero Construction, and it was a positive experience all around. The Project Manager, Roque Fuentes, was great to work with. He was very responsive every step of the way, responding to calls, text messages and e-mails usually within an hour but never later than the next day.

Once the materials were delivered, the crew was able to completely strip and replace the roof in one day. Our insurance company originally was not going to pay for the gutters and downspouts to be replaced, which clearly needed to be done, but Roque spoke with them directly without me having to get involved, and got the additional work approved. The gutters and downspouts were then promptly replaced.

We also had some damages to our pool screen enclosure from the hail storm, and one minor area that was damaged when the roof was removed. The screen repairs were also completed within a few weeks of the roof replacement.

I highly recommend American Hero Construction. Having a roof replaced can be a stressful undertaking, and the fact that I could always reach Roque, that he proactively communicated the status and next steps to me throughout the entire process, and that he communicated directly with my insurance company instead of placing that burden on me, made the process as stress free as possible. And on top of that, the work was performed to a very high level of quality and completed very quickly. My neighbor is a professional home builder, and he was amazed at how quickly the work was completed once it started, and also agreed the quality of the work was top notch.

Don't hesitate to use AHC if you are in need of a re-roof!
