    Never work with these people. Noah Prater was the No show supervisor and Shane Hastings backed everything he did. They didn’t follow the custom plans that their architect Drew up, I’m missing the 3 front steps the garage was to be dropped by 2 feet so the room above the garage would be right. Now I have to have custom shower doors, bedroom doors made. We don’t have doors on 2 of our bathrooms because the framing was wrong. The upstairs was built with 2x6’s instead of 2x8’s and there is so many other things.

    I highly recommend American Home Constructors, Inc. I was impressed by their quality of work, attention to detail and design suggestions. Noah Prater was great to work with throughout the whole process. There were a few hiccups since my husband was deployed overseas at the time, but Shane Hastings and Noah Prater were very professional and helped me through the process.

    Build a house

    I contracted AHCI to build a house in Christiana. After 3 weeks of working with Shane Hastings, he wanted me to pay him personally for all the changes so that “he didn’t have to pay taxes”. After I started asking more questions t get some updates. He walked away based on Loan Contingency “ when I already had given him a complete pre approval letter do a VA loan since I am a Navy Veteran.
    Do not use them unless you want to be taken advantage of.
