Consumer Affairs "hands out" licenses simply to get
a fee. Home owners do not realize the process to obtain a home improvement license. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HOW MUCH KNOWLEDGE THE CONTRACTOR HAS AS PER BEING ABLE TO PUT UP A ROOF, INSTALL AN EXTENSION ON YOUR HOME, RENOVATE AND INSTALL THOSE $80,000 CUSTOM KITCHEN CABINETS YOU JUST PURCHASED! The contractor test is all about taxes, yes how much tax to collect from the consumer, how to determine the taxes owed to the county, state. Most importantly, when you contact Consumer Affairs it is primarily interested in COLLECTING FINES FOR ITS AGENCY, NOT SO MUCH TO ASSIST THE CONSUMER--IF THE CONSUMER HAS PROBLEMS, CONSUMER AFFAIRS WILL INVESTIGATE, BUT ONLY TO DETERMINE IF IT CAN COLLECT FEE, THE CONSUMER STILL NEEDS TO TAKE THE CONTRACTOR TO COURT ON HIS OWN. American Home Solutions by Andrew is a SCAM.
Scamming the American public, scamming the IRS,
scamming all the taxing authorities. Don't give them your business because you will not be able to collect if they do a bad job. No EIN, no insurance,
no way to even serve it as it has no registered agent--they take American tax papers money, but
don't abide by US and NY laws.
