We had an annual service agreement with AMS for our 1200 sqft retail location. We paid $44/month for two annual service visits. We had small issues with each visit (total of 4) the last visit was in October of 2016 and for some reason the service tech decided to open the unit baffle to a warm weather setting. In December of 2016 when it got cold in Denver, we had no heat from the unit, it blew cold air. We called and were told they could not have a tech out to our location until the next day. The tech came the next day and spent 5 minutes closing the baffle and then the heat was fine. The bill came a few days later and we were charged for 2 hours of "truck time". That means they charge from the time they leave their last service visit until they arrive at your location. The total bill was for $285 for a 5 minute fix of something they caused during a preventive maintenance visit. We tried to get them to reduce the bill and they would never return calls or e-mails, we finally cancelled the service and they sent a cancellation fee. Now they have turned the account over to collection after we paid them every month for 2 years and had an issue with their extreme service costs. Don't bother with this company find an alternative.
