I am a member of the board of directors for a not for profit 55+ community. I am the board member in charge of the pool. I had been receiving complaints from our residents about our pool being neglected and our pool techs doing 5 or 10 minute visits. So I decided to watch them carefully for two weeks as my apartment looks directly over the pool. For the 2 weeks of my investigation, American Pool failed to provide the contracted services and even falsified the log sheet to indicate service visits that were made. I have overwhelming evidence with extensive notetaking and photos of the increasing filth over the 2 week period. I also have photos of the log sheet that shows two entries logged on the same day (I took a photo of the log sheet at 7am and again at 5 pm on the same day that two entries were made on different dates). Despite repeated requests to the upper management to issue a credit for unrendered services, I was passed onto a manager who had no authority to meet my request. I tried to file a complaint using the proper channel through the company by going to the employee who handles complaints for American Pool. All she did was hand me off to the same district manager who couldn't do anything. The district manager told me that the service techs have too many properties to adequately do all the services and are stretched too thin. I couldn't believe he actually admitted that to me and I told him that was a company problem. I gave this company 3 opportunities to make this right. They had ample opportunity to respond adequately but ignored me with the hope I would go away.
