Well, I could write a novel about my horrible experience with this company (or now goes by Tony), but I'll save it for the CSLB to sort out. Terrible con artist that doesn't stand by his word.

AVOID AT ALL COST!!!
Should've read these reviews before hiring this contractor. Said he was licensed, later I find out his license is revocked. Hired 2 guys to work on my front and backyard, which wasn't enough and kept dragging the project. He would later add one person for few days, then 2 guys will not show up for other days. I later found out that the one worker who stopped showing up, was because he wasn't getting paid. It ended up with a shouting match between the worker and the old contractor in front of me. He advertises on Craig's list as a Veteran. I really thought I could trust an 82 year old vet. I WAS WRONG!!! -

What happened In 2017 review also happened to us in April 2020. I can’t recommend this contractor. He took labor money down payment for paving job and garage attic for personal gain as his profit for the unfinished project and we later found out he was not paying his workers and he would ask week after week until we gave almost 90 percent labor money of the 2 projects then he will pay his workers half and tell them he hasn’t collected from the homeowner, well in fact the labor project has been almost paid for bec he would collect each wk and send skeleton crew ,this project took a long time to really begin the main job ,far fromBeing finish until we confronted him of his money scheme .He doesn’t take personal responsibility of the project he cares more about the money he could collect t and gain, later on when i confronted about the almost paid project money to pay workers. He said I don’t have the money anymore and you can take over the project just pay the guys. God is our witness we were wronged and in a helpless dilemma as we needed the project to be finish so we took over and he acknowledged that he received cash labor money from us suppose to pay workers.we have all checks n signature of money received.
In fairness his workers were excellent all project came out well done and
Our total labor cost doubled as per agreed price but We are satisfied with the workmanship . Just be careful when dealing with this company esp the finance side of doing business with them. He has his ways to get what he wants at clients expense and workers workmanship .hope no one will ever go through same tricky labor money experience esp not during pandemic already stress life of my husband as er provider . We felt taken advance by the owner of this company knowing we don’t know much about construction costs ,anyway we learned a lot and we will be more careful too next time to only pay a job that’s done. -

The most terrible contractor we have ever dealt with. Do NOT hire this company. They do not take accountability for their work and continues to make excuses after excuses as if he is doing you a favor in order to request for more money. Will push you to give you the money as of pity but delay your project and work on other projects before finishing yours even after giving the money. Gave him the last amount of money but still owes us an item for the project to be complete because he “promised to give it to us after” and demanded us to give the last amount of money owed and it’s been a month after the project was finished and we’ve heard nothing but excuses from him still and rejected calls and texts. Do not hire them. Terrible and worst experience and I can not stress it enough. Did not even clean up after their mess and left stains on our pavers and said it was our fault. I’ve had someone else install pavers on our house and they cleaned it up well. For someone who says he’s been in the business for years hires kids in high school and has to repeat the construction process because it was uneven and kept messing up. They don’t care they just want your money.

YES we do! Tony and his Go Vets Crew did amazing work for us! They repaired our torn up driveway and patio in record time leaving them looking beautiful. Another company had started work after we signed a written contract. Then the owner decided he wanted much more money for a larger job. When we did not agree? He walked away from the job. Bummer!
Tony answered my call right away on a weekend. He showed up next day with a reasonable estimate. Our opinion is that Tony is a wonderful contractor.
He also explained clearly the reasons behind these negative reviews. Some like the last one wanted to change the material to a more expensive one without paying an additional charge. Tony just stopped work even though he was owed money. Others involved disputes with workers not hired by Tony but he received the blame.
Those "kids in high school?" They were Tony's grandsons learning the business while working for him. Yeah. Tony is the best contractor we have ever had.
