By Jane P.August 16, 2022Refinish pool and deck.$8,000
I have been attempting to get Ken back her to do the job he promised. He refinished the pool and deck. I have massive cracks and already spent a ton of money fixing his subpar plumbing. He promised to come out and fix the massive cracks but has disappeared. He makes a ton of promises and doesn’t live up to any of them. Next step is my attorney. I spent far too much money to let him off the hook.

By AnonymousJuly 8, 2015Pool Repair$1,5001 dayAvoid Ken at American Pool in Phoenix AZ
Kenny came out, all smiles, great price, and proceeded to plumb a Quad DE filter in backwards. Plus the plumbing leaked. He kept making appointments to come back out and never showed. After 2 weeks or so I had to call someone else. It cost me almost $1,000 to replace that the grids (because he plumbed it backwards) and redo his substandard plumbing.
I had used him several times in the past and not had any issues till now. Everyone makes mistakes but it appears that when Ken @ American Pool makes a mistake he has no interest in coming back to resolve.
Avoid at all costs

We hired Ken Maule of American Pool & Spa to build a massive, approx. 80,000 gallon residential pool near The Biltmore in Phoenix, AZ. The pool had a 14' diameter island with bridge, sunken poolside bar with 8 underwater stools, tons of waterfalls, a hot tub/spa, fountains and water features. There are eight 2hp pumps/motors driving the system. It is amazing. We had not one problem or dissappointment throughout the process. We would recommend them to anyone.
