remove damaged roof and replace roof

One star is by Far too many!! The Worst customer service ever. We used this company to replace our roof after Hurricane Michael, worst mistake! They contracted a company from TX with no english speaking employees. They made such a mess, they put shingles over damaged wood, the roof started leaking, Too many issues to list. Over $14000.00 was given to fix our roof. We tried to get them to fix all issues but they conveniently went out of business. They suggested a couple other roofing companies that could fix the damages done by their business but we would have to pay them to fix those damages/shotty work. Horrible experience!!!!!

    Residential Roof Install
    $0

EVEN 1 STAR IS TOO MANY. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS POSSIBLE!! Built a home on PCB (1,500sq ft 3bd/2ba) through Centurion Homes (no longer in biz) and had no input on roofing except for shingle (Tamko 3-Tab, 25yr) color. COO in March 2004. In 2015 I had to replace the pipe boots and had never heard of a "riser" or "nail pop" before. I had 8 different roofers come to inspect the boot replacement and ALL of them came off the roof stating I've got bigger problems than the pipe boots....there were risers, nail pops, rusted nails laying all over the roof. With each new roofer, it was the same thing (and most correctly guessed it was an A&A roof install and said they are well known within their roofing community, as doing terrible work combined with terrible customer service)......all but 1 company would repair the pipe boots and even begin to tackle the existing nail pops, but it wasn't/hasn't been cheap. Every other roofer said they wouldn't touch the job because the entire roof needs to be replaced. I paid an independent local home inspector (with 30+ yrs of Bay County experience) to evaluate it and he came down with the same conclusion, horrible installation and A&A was one of the two companies he guessed did the work, since he's been seeing this stuff from them for years. He said it was most likely poor compression nail guns and many other shortcuts along the way.....which most roofers know, but A&A's didn't know or worse, didn't care. He said I had an excellent claim for a lawsuit, but knowing Gordon Andrews and their company, it wouldn't be worth the time, cost or effort. I did call them and spoke with Pamela, who immediately tried to tell me she didn't think they were the company in question, so within 10 minutes I called her back with the building permit # and date is was issued to GORDON ANDREWS, OWNER. She was extremely dismissive and rude during every contact thereafter. I told her I wasn't looking for a "free" new roof, just for them to take responsibility for their poor and obviously flawed install and fix the problem....I even said we could come to an agreement on a fair price, since the roof was only 11 years old. She sent her inspector out (who arrived without notice), but hearing him on the roof I stepped outside (much to his surprise) and with a straight face, he said "he saw nothing wrong, but the pipe boots do need replacing". Thankfully I found TADLOCK ROOFING who rescued me by replacing the pipe boots (no complaint-normal wear&tear), but have been fixing nail pops, leaks all over my roof for the last 3 years. I just had them install a new skylight that was leaking due to a lazy, terrible installation and improper nailing/no flashing. Although what's really needed is a total roof replacement (which I can't afford), but the shingles still have a few years of life left in them, so they are going to tackle the "hundreds and hundreds" of risers, nail pops, missing nails that still remain over the next few weeks. I estimate it's going to cost me roughly $3,000 to fix A & A's extremely poor roof installation. I 've never commented on a company like this before, but after replacing the skylight and having to spend more money on more nail pops, I had enough and felt I needed to warn potential customers......DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, REGARDLESS OF PRICE!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

They did a good job. The project was completed on time and on budget. They may be a bit pricey, but it doesn't matter. Other than that I have no complains.

They were very fast, efficient, did a good job, cleaned up well when they left. I have nothing bad to say about. Well, it was a double project. They put a water heater upstairs and put a heat air conditioner downstairs. They took a day for each one. They can improve on, ofcourse, better price. Other than that I was perfectly happy.

They came here to get it done and everything works like it supposed to. And my dad was happy with it. As long as the customer is happy, everything is good. They seemed that they know what they're doing. They showed up here. And they seemed very professional.

I mean they did a thorough job, and quick, no mess and they cleaned up everything. However, I thought when they installed the heater, they will check the air to make sure they didn't have any leaks. That's what I'm concerned about.

They came in and did the job. They weren't messing around or anything. They got to the point. I asked questions, they have answered. That's all I need. I didn't expect nothing more, nothing less. The project was completed on time and within my budget.

They found a lot of things that the company before them, had done wrong and gotten away with. There were some major things that weren't right. And I really wasn't ready to change the system out, but when I saw the things that needed to be changed, we went ahead and decided to do a whole new unit. And the people did good work. They were clean, orderly, showed me what was wrong, hired people to take care of all and everything is fine. Now we're still in the process of tweaking the system. I still have to have them come out and redo some of the dumpers to get the airflow a little different, but other than that there's no problem.
