  My experience was great, Derwyn helped me in a time or difficulty , l was stress out after my divorce and was jerked around by 3 other contractors , he was recommend by my older brother who was his child hood friend. Derwyn is a true good person , my job was approved the first time the inspector came to my house . thanks Derwyn.

  Ok, derwyn was not very fast but is very good and his work is very professional. I later discovered that it wasn't his fault that the project was delayed . The city of irvington is very slow with paper work .in the end he even did extra as an incentive to me as a customer. "A good guy"

  My experience with this contractor was ok, l had many other contractors work on a project for me and could not pass inspection but derwyn's job was approved the first time , he knows the plumbing and mechanical codes his work is very neat. He's not super fast but will make sure it's done right.

  Furnaces and duct work

  Derwyn did two furnaces for me ductwork and two condensers ,he got a compliment from the mechanical inspection from the township of Livingston his work was great I would absolutely use him again,the job was 1 day overdue but he was very professional he takes pride in his work. And very neat and clean.

  Derwyn weatherspoon acted very professional when he approached us for plumbing and hvac jobs. He did show up for a couple days at the very beginning. Then he started to ask us to pay for materials over the phone, quite a few materials were never made to our properties. He blackmailed us with chimney liner issue, where could be solved by using power vent, he threatened to expose the “illegal” work done, where all works were filed under his licenses. He was afraid us to show what he did to city inspectors, he extort us for more money to finish the jobs. He also refused to provide receipts for the materials that we paid for.

  Derwyn Weatherspoon installed two old tankless heaters and I was told they were brand new but they were 2 years old. He also did not pay for the permit that he was
  Supposed to. He is very unprofessional and gives you the run around once he collects money. I am taking him for court. I highly do not recommend him!! Stay far away.

  Derwyn was hired to install mixing valves after selling himself as one of the best plumbers in town. He talks so smoothly that I believed him. After paying him, I found out that valves were improperly installed. Called him several times to come and rectify problem and he kept promising to come but never came. I gave up and redid the job. Users beware.

  Very devastating. Made promises. Collected money and never brought the parts. Claimed he was talking to the manufacturer for almost a month and would not answer the phone when called. He kept making promises to return the money collected as of the writing of this review, he has not return the money. He totally ignore my call now.
