Amigos Painting

Jose and Carmelo are the most clean painting crew I've ever seen. They work so efficiently and their work is stellar. They prepped the house by pressure washing, then replaced boards (and we had a lot of boards that needed replacing) and caulked, then taped off and wrapped, sprayed, then painted trim and gutters. There was never a pile of junk in our yard, never did we see one drop of paint on the ground or near the house. The only way we knew they were still painting was because they left their ladders against our fence in the backyard. So clean and tidy and we greatly appreciated that. We are so very pleased and highly recommend them.

I am so impressed with these guys. We had another painter flake on us mid-summer-- late July ("Just got too busy"), and so I thought we would have to wait another year, but thought I would get some quotes.

Amigos came when they said they would, gave us a quote for less than half the nearest competitor, and told me they would be able to paint my house before the fall rains hit.

Three weeks later, they showed up with about six ladders and were finished with scraping and power washing that same day. Then they let it dry properly, let me know when they would come back.

About a week later, when the weather was cooperating, they texted, then showed up the next morning, put up eight ladders, and got right to it. They were done and cleaned up in two days!

The key is that they work with extraordinary cooperation and efficiency. By having so many ladders up, two guys could cover so much area in such a short time. Even the people at Stockton's downtown told me that when they order and pick up paint, they are courteous but quick and efficient. We had some anxiety about the colors we chose, and they talked it through with us very calmly. I love the paint job more now than six months ago, and I hope they are still around next time I need the house painted again.

Jose and Carmelo did an exemplary job. They were thorough, meticulous, pleasant, timely, and they were the lowest bid of 4 that we got. There were just 2 of them and they scraped, power washed, filled cracks etc. to prep and cleaned up their mess well. Then they sprayed, brushed and rolled, 2 coats.
