Anastor Electric, after bidding our new construction, pulled permits, were scheduled to begin work alongside our hvac and plumber. Did a complete walk through and was provided an estimate. With less than one week before commencing work, Tom Anastor emailed us with a 34%(!) increase from their original bid. Explanation was that our exterior soffit can lights would require double install rate (apparently $8500 worth?!!). We revised our plans to reduce. No reply to texts or calls. No show on the job site. Was notified at 9:00 pm that night that they decided they wouldn’t be able to do our job and removed their name from the permit, leaving everyone high and dry and completely disrupting scheduling.
