Ancora Construction

We've used Ancora for 2 separate projects over the past 3 years and they did a great job on both.

The first job was a remodel of 2 bathrooms in our Boca Raton townhouse. We were thrilled with how it turned out. Joe worked with our vision and was able to help bring it to reality.

Our 2nd project was a much larger renovation for our new house in Parkland. The project included new flooring throughout, remodeling 2 bathrooms, converting a dining area into an office/den, and transforming our old, ugly, tiled fireplace into a beautiful board & batten style design. Again, we were pleased with how Joe and Ancora managed the project from start to finish.

Overall we've found them great to work with. Joe has been easy to communicate with, understanding and reasonable when an issue comes up that needs to be addressed, and genuinely dedicated to making sure the project is successful and that we're happy with the end result. These things in my opinion are the most important characteristics to look for in a general contractor / construction company.

Jimmy and Joe and their entire Ancora team could not have done a better and higher quality job with our 3300 square foot gut renovation. They worked TIRELESSLY to ensure every detail was considered, thought through and finished to a quality that exceeded our expectations. We are living in our dream home. Jimmy took that lead on the build for this and his responsiveness, communication, problem solving and attention to detail and design eye is phenomenal. I was a TOUGH client, have a very high design bar and Jimmy and Joe were patient, empathetic, creative and supportive throughout it all.
Character wise, these are just good humans who care about doing their best work.
We have wrapped up after 4/5 months and it’s all love and gratitude from us .
Thank you guys, thanks John, Alex, Justin, Jorge, Gary. The list goes on for making our dream home a reality.

We recently used Ancora Construction on a total remodel of our home. We are beyond pleased with the outcome! During the remodel I found out I was pregnant and Ancora made sure to finish our project within the deadline I gave them. They did everything to stay within our budget without having to skimp out on quality of materials. My kitchen (favorite part of the house) is BEYOND beautiful and we get compliments all the time. On top of their workmanship, they were always easy to get ahold of and answered all my crazy questions. Their work is beautiful and I cannot recommend them enough. I would use them again and again!

We are so happy that we chose Ancora to do our kitchen & bath remodel. The owners were hands on and explained step by step the entire process during our project. We had so much fun picking out the materials and choosing the colors. I would highly recommend Ancora and will definitely use them on future projects.

I can show you pictures of the damage they did not fix Erica J… I was told they would go through the house and fix everything that we put blue tape on but that never happened…I don’t care if they liked me or not they should have finished the work..there were nails left in the wall…they left razor blades in my yard, destroyed my fences and landscaping.the workers destroyed 3 lamps, stole 6 golf shirts, and multiple things from our house. Still having to pay what they messed up..I guess you were more important to them…they need to make it right but I know they won’t..it’s not normal what they did to my house

Honestly, I have absolutely no idea what these previous reviewers are talking about. My husband and I just finished up a 10 month custom renovation on our 1925 historic home, and we had the most incredible experience with Ancora Construction LLC. I could write a novel of the experience we had (because it definitely was a wild ride) but after our renovation was complete, there is no other company we ever want to work with over the Ancora team in the future! To be blunt, they were professional, hardworking, and what we valued the most- honest, upfront, and approachable. Not to mention they have a great eye for design + specialize in custom remodeling which was a necessity for our historically cute yet battered gem of a home. They knocked it out of the park! And when accidents and/or mistakes occurred (bc you know, that's life in the world of home renovations lol) they were quick to tell us what happened, take responsibility if need be, and proceed to make it right, or help us find the solution within our budget. They are skilled craftsmen, trust-worthy, and all-around great guys! Extremely pleased with our experience! :)

Would not recommend. Poor overall experience as well as quality. Cost of more to repair their mistakes
