Andrew Lahti Contracting

We had a medium sized job of a porch, stairs and railing construction and it turned out wonderful. Very reasonable rates, quick quote and quick completion. Yes, I’d recommend.

I don't think the first reviewer was reviewing the correct company. Andrew Lahti Contracting did Lead rehabilitation work on my home, and I only have good things to say about their service and work! The three / four employees that were at my home seemed to really care about their work, and Andrew himself stopped by multiple times to check on their work and progress. When the project was completed, I was quite satisfied. I would recommend them for any indoor or outdoor construction work.

Not sure if that other person is talking about the same Andrew Lahti Contracting, but our experience was nothing but positive. They are always available, answering calls at every hour(even weekends). Provided us with some great suggestions, but always did what we wanted. Great quality work, would highly recommend.

Would I recommend him? absolutely not! the windows installed were not done properly, my roof still leaks, he damaged an expensive door while installing it, the storm doors were also not installed correctly, he did not insulate around doors or windows either. He charged for lead abatement and painting that he did not preform. He does not respond to phone calls or texts and I have yet to receive a written receipt or accounting of what was done. I have a 40K lien on my home and after getting estimates from other contractors it will cost me several thousands of dollars to fix his work. I have several photos to document his this. I had a blower test for winterization done by another company and all doors and windows leaked and failed the test, I live in snow country and instead of seeing a reduction in my fuel usage I experienced a substantial increase (I have 20+ years of heating bills to verify this) In my opinion he has no business calling himself a contractor!
