Contact made by green paper flyer "Professional Landscaping" I hired Mr. Nugyen to level my brick patio which had sunk somewhat over the years. We negotiated a price of $1700. During the course of the work I stepped out 3 times and each time had to remark on where the work was not meeting my expectations. The final result was close to acceptable, still not completely level but passable. The borders however had huge gaps where the bricks no longer fit. They cut up several of my bricks I think in early efforts to make things fit until I told them that it wasn't even or raised enough. This resulted in huge gaps that once had brick filling them and some bricks with cuts halfway through them. I pointed out this issue with Mr. Nguyen but he simply told me that I'd have to replace the bricks. It was clear that in his mind the job was done. I appreciate that he never disagreed with me about the shortcomings prior to completion and that he had to go get more gravel to raise the patio to the level I expected, but leaving the edges incomplete and failing to put patio sand in to fill the gaps between bricks left the job unfinished and us ultimately dissatisfied with the end product. As I tried to get him to resolve the edges prior to them leaving, I didn't further contact him before writing this review. I will revise it if he makes this right, otherwise it stands at 3 stars. He and his team were respectful and efficient. They arrived at my house promptly as well.
