  Kenny and his crew are wonderful to work with! I’m a local Realtor who’s very active in the area, and I recommend Kenny to all of my clients. We personally used them for our home, and our office, and we cant recommend them enough! Competitive pricing and great work all around.

  Hardwood floor

  $3,500

  Another Level of Harwood floors is one of the worst outfits I have ever encountered. The owner Ken claimed he use to be a Suffolk county police officer and had to decide on where he was going to make more money.. he choose flooring because it would be more profitable. Like myself you will read further and learn why.. Aside from his arrogance , he is discreditable and not true to his word. The work is unprofessional .
  he will offer incentives for you to pay cash which with some contractors can make sense. I would discourage anyone from using this contractor and am pondering initiating a class action suit with other disappointed customers who have been cheated by this guy.
  we agreed on price to sand coat and seal our entire 1St floor.
  plastic covering to the upstairs and basement door .
  We asked if they would be carting of all garbage and were told there would be 1-2 large contractor bags
  We “verified “since we would be leaving the house to them that he was going to be there each day.
  I subsequently learned thru my house cameras he only came the first day for at most 1.5 hours.
  Here is what we encountered when we returned.
  -There were 2 contractor bags in the front with holes in them and sand dust everywhere because the bags were overfilled and not tied
  -They mucked up the walls to the point i needed to hire a painter
  -the plastic was not on the door for the basement and the entire room was a cloud of dust
  -the color was not even across the floor in a few of the rooms
  -the wood seemed soft which suggested to me they would be more vulnerable to scratches. We even at his suggestion gave it an extra two days before we moved the furniture back
  Over $3500.00 later to him and additional expenses incurred around doing the work the floor looks so horrible that i had to evaluate redoing it again inside of 1 year.
  contractors that perform like this should not be allowed to do business this way without consequences.
  Stay away unless you have money to burn or are wearing a sticker that says “sucker” on your forehead.

  What a joke! There was so many errors.He left garbage everywhere.And that’s definitely not bothered me the most,He was flirting with my House cleaner And even was telling us how his wife never worked and he has MS and wanted to divorce her but how they have three sons.Definitely not professional at all.did not ask for all that personal information or even care.just not professional at all

  FANTASTIC! Highly recommend! Start to finish was exactly what he stated from the beginning. Great work ethic! Not sure why it says he wasn’t on the job supervising. He was on the job not only supervising but working as well! Very neat and clean.
  Best of all my floors look amazing in my home!

  I would NOT recommend Ken Monz or his business, Another Level of Hardwood Flooring. Ken’s sales pitch did NOT live up to his work. He did NOT complete aspects of the job that he said he would. My floors came out with many errors and flaws, the polyurethane was puddled in some places and missing in others. There was missing wood when the job was “complete” in places he said he would replace the wood. Ken said that he would supervise the job, and he did NOT... his men are poor workers and Ken is a terrible businessperson...like a con artist. His work does not live up to his word. I am upset that I paid him and to this day (6 years later), I think about bringing him to court for his poor workmanship. This, as mentioned by others, is a kind review compared to how I feel. DO
  NOT hire this contractor. Terrible workmanship.

  Ken said he would be there supervising as well and was not - his men left the their food in huge garbage bags with the sawdust on my driveway not out by the curb so the garbagemen couldn't pick it up and the raccoons got to it -when we came back from a quick getaway so the floors could dry we had to clean a mess and a half - he also never covered our basement door and a TON of dust went down there - there is also lots of streaks and shoddy parts of the floor -- would NOT recommend

  I would not! Ken told me that he would be supervising and he didn't. His men did shoddy work, and after the fact, I'm upset that I paid him. His work did not live up to his sales pitch. There were errors and parts of the job that he promised he would do, and didn't. This is a kind review compared to how I really feel.
