I met Anthony Udoka in July 2018 and signed a contract in August 2018 to get permits, IN 3-4 MONTHS, to change a single family in DC into two semi-detached single family. For the past 34 months, he has given excuse after excuse, without getting any permits. He would continue to tell me that he was very close to obtaining the permit, but they all turned out to be lies. There would be times that I could not even have him respond to my contacts for many weeks. He is now telling me that he could not get a curb-cut for the driveway and, therefore, would be submitting another plan for alley way access. So far, his delays have caused us to get tickets from the DCRA for being "Vacant Building", which would increase our taxes TEN fold. I am still trying to resolve the Vacant Building issue. During this delay, we have also been given various tickets by the DCRA. He has told me so many lies about being very close to the issuance of the permit, but keeps blaming the DCRA. He would not even respond to the DCRA's comments in time.
This ordeal has cost us tens of thousands of dollars, with no end in site.
Anthony is a nightmare from hell and you would regret having hired him. Please stay away and save so much headache and financial losses.
