  clean gutters - paint deck

  $2,750

  Lock up your elderly mother's checkbook! I was out of town and Mr. Coleman's "salesman," showed up begging for work, "for the crew" and got my mother, who is blind and has dementia, to sign a contract for $2750. To clean gutters and paint her deck. He got her to write a check for half of that down, which mom did after explaining that he needed to wait until I returned home to cash it. Which he did not. When I discovered what was going on, my husband called him and told him not to come back and finish the work, and Mr. Coleman threatened to sue my 75 pound, 80 year old mother for breach of contract. An absolutely despicable human being preying on the elderly and inform.

  Estimate for roof replacement

  Tried getting an estimate for our roof. The contractor was an hour late, very rude, and unprofessional. He wanted us to commit to purchasing a roof before even telling us the cost. I will not be doing any business with this company.

  Replace wood around front door

  $4,000

  90 days

  Took 3 months to take out trim around door and put new trim and door on. Didn't put trim up. Didn't put screen door back on, and took all the fixtures to the screen door, so we had to buy all new parts. Didn't measure correctly, a 1-inch gap between framing and wallpaper. Rude, unprofessional, and would not correct problems unless we paid them more money. Outside wood trimmings were not cut correctly. They broke my inside wood trimmings and then put the splintered and broken trim back up. Ridiculous and over priced.

  Contractor replaced our roof, but never reinstalled gutters after replacing roof (I had to do that myself after they left). When we later discovered that our new roof was leaking, the sales guy came out to look at it then said he would have to bring the owner out to take a look at it later that week, but they never showed. We tried calling a couple times a week for months after that (and left many voicemails), but never once got a callback. Now we have to hire another company to fix their mistakes. Not something you'd expect from a company that charges a premium for their services. Would NOT recommend this contractor - too expensive and horrible customer service.

  Very professional, rude, discourteous and very questionable business practices. Anthony Coleman, the owner, likes to holler and Bob Stanley, the installer, mumbles and both are difficult to work with. They insisted that all monies be paid up front and cash was requested.
  I would not recommend Coleman Construction.

  very unprofessional--took 4 month to remodel a 5 foot by 8 foot bathroom. drywall work was marginal at best--new tub fittings are not good at all-would not hire them again
