We had a terrible experience with Anything Wet. Buyer beware. We contracted them to rehab our pool, add a spa, re-tile our deck and install new operating equipment. After paying over $50,000 we ran into an issue because the Hayward electronic board and the auto fill system they installed didn't work. Rather than try to fix them they insisted on their final payment of about $2,500 before they would come out. That was a problem for us And they refused to come out. We were left with fixing the operation board ourselves through the manufacturer. Since the auto fill system still was not working properly we still had not paid the balance. Without notification nor permission they came onto our property while we were not home and removed equipment that was worth more, and had been paid for, than the balance due. In addition, by removing the equipment they put the integrity of our pool in jeopardy which was an enormous urgent problem to solve. Pat, the owner will state that this was all justifiable per the contract. But what respectable business does that? They were only concerned about getting paid and not helping us. Interestingly if you read the negative reviews they all have the same common theme. As they say "where there's smoke there's fire". I strongly recommend to anyone considering this company that they do not sign their standard contract. It is written in a very one sided way that not only does not protect the consumer, but puts them in a very vulnerable position. Everything is great until it's not.
