    Clean out installation
    $240

My nightmare experience with Anyway Plumbing update. My home was clean and free of sewage until Anyway Plumbing arrived. They showed up filthy, tracked it into my home, and left me with a huge mess and a carpet cleaning bill. In addition, I lost two days of child care wages waiting for my carpet to be cleaned due to their negligence and total disregard of my home. We were used like employees fetching parts for them, digging/burying holes for them, and cleaning up after them. Anyway Plumbing left the job unfinished without our knowledge. They left a huge hole dangerously uncovered, and they left their trash, used rubber gloves, and all the disgusting sewage they pulled out of the sewer line. They just left the unsafe hazardous mess sitting in the driveway. There were two trash cans 2’ in front of them! What they did in/out of my home was extremely unprofessional, disgusting, unsafe, and completely lazy, to say the least. They advertised $60/hour and free consultations in my area. I was charged $135/hour and $135 charge for a 10 minute drive. This was a middle of the day service call! I was livid. They made a total mess of my home, used us to do their job, and charged me well over double. Anyway Plumbing’s employee told me he would let the owner know how dissatisfied I was. Realizing the damages they caused exceeded the bill and zero contact from the owner, I put a stop payment on my check. I contacted the owner and informed him of my grievances and the canceled check. The response I got back was a breakdown of the inflated bill. I requested a face to face meeting with him and his employees that were at my home. I didn’t receive a response to my request. A decent upstanding business owner would have met with a customer that had a horrible experience. He took me to small claims court instead. The original bill was $540. He sued me for $2,536! This business owner is a piece of work. Anyway Plumbing treated my home like a barnyard, used us like employees, made a huge mess in/out of my home, charged me $75/hour more than advertised plus a $135 service charge, put me out two days of wages, left me with a carpet cleaning bill, completely ignored my concerns, and tried to scam an extra $1,996 from me. How immoral, pathetic, and sickening can a business get? Anyway Plumbing stated in court they were trying to save me money and that is why they used us for fetching their parts, digging/burying holes for them, and cleaning up the filthy messes they created in/out of my home. What a crock! Anyway Plumbing took advantage of us in every way they could. They wanted to get as much money as they could while doing as little work as possible, making a total mess of my home in the process. The owner stated in court I saw an old add. The add I was looking at was Anyway Plumbing’s Facebook page. Everything on their Facebook page advertised free consultations in my area, operating 24/7 at $60/hour. If you’re going to charge $135/hour ($75/hour more than advertised) and $135 for a 10 minute drive, the customer should be told when they call and definitely before any work is started. It’s the decent, legal, and moral thing to do. It was determined in court that I should have been billed $60/hour totaling $240. I thought by submitting a counterclaim I would be saying I wanted a buck from this disgraceful business. I did not submit a counterclaim for my damages for this reason. Naively, I only wanted an apology. I thought my damages would offset the bill but found out that is not how it works. I had receipts and photos of the deplorable mess they created and left in/out of my home, but it didn’t matter without submitting a counterclaim. This business owner made grossly untrue statements and pitiful excuses for how he and his employees treated my family, my home, and my property. I never received an apology from Anyway Plumbing. It’s pathetic that there are businesses like this one that will take full advantage of a customer for a dollar bill.

    Install a clean out
    $540

My homes main sewer line backed up, and I needed a plumber. I called Anyway Plumbing which advertised it was a 24/7 business at the rate of $60/hour with free consultations for local areas which included my area. I was not told I would be charged differently than advertised.

When Anyway Plumbing arrived, they (yes, there were 2) were filthy. They came into my home tracking mud and other people’s sewage throughout it. My husband had already snaked a 2” clean out in the garage, went into the crawl space to check for overflow, and inspected the main sewer line. He asked if they could install a 3” clean out outside. They decided to remove the toilet, even though he told them the master bath and the main bath had a straight connection with a tee in the middle to the main and doubted it would work. There were 2 plumbers for a 1 man job, and they asked my husband to go get a toilet seal for them. The sewer snake did not make a 90° turn down the straight pipe, and it was a waste of time. They created a sewer pit in the bathroom from their filthy shoes, and they left their enormous mess for me to clean up.

Again, my husband asked if they could install a 3” clean out outside. They decided they would snake the 2” clean out in the garage that he told them he had already snaked. They used our 50’ snake because the 25’ electric snake they brought fell apart. This too was a waste of time, my husband had already done the exact same thing.

My husband told them he was going to start digging the hole for the clean out outside because it had been 2 hours of them doing things he had already done and/or checked, and it was obvious they weren’t going to dig the hole that needed to be dug for the installation. He dug a 5’x4’x3.5’ hole while 2 plumbers wasted time waiting for the hole to be dug. After it was dug for them, they sent my husband to the hardware store a 2nd time for their clean out parts and again a 3rd time for another part. What kind of business has a customer dig a hole for them and sends the customer to get parts for them not once, not twice, but three times?

After installing and snaking the outside clean out, which took less than an hour, they brought me the bill. I was charged $135/hour not the $60/hour rate advertised, and I was charged $135 for them to show up to my home when they advertised free consultations, and the business is 10 minutes from my home.

When Anyway Plumbing left our house, we went outside to check everything. They left the huge clean out hole uncovered right in front of a gate to the backyard. How unsafe and unprofessional! Anyway Plumbing left their trash, used rubber gloves, and all the disgusting sewage they pulled out of the pipe in our driveway when there were 2 trash cans 2’ in front of them. Who does that? Anyway Plumbing should be ashamed of themselves. We spent over 3 hours cleaning up the mess Anyway Plumbing left us. I missed 2 days of in home childcare wages waiting for my carpet to be professionally cleaned, at my expense, due to Anyway Plumbing’s negligence and total disregard of my home.

Everyone experiences bad service, but this was not just bad service, this was a nightmare! Anyway Plumbing has absolutely no concern for their customers. Anyway Plumbing’s employee told me he would let the owner know of my grievances. I never received any contact from Anyway Plumbing even after they received my Better Business Bureau review the day after my service and responded to it, “I was not contacted by customer before review was sent to Better Business Bureau, for I would of handled the situation immediately. I will talk to my sub contractor and limited member about situation.” This business does not handle situations immediately! I waited 3 days to be contacted by Anyway Plumbing. I was not contacted, so on the 4th day I contacted the owner and never received an apology or any sort of remorse. Anyway Plumbing has no integrity and zero customer service. They have no respect for a person’s home or property.
