APEX DEV. BUILT A HOME FOR ME IN THE PRESCOTT COMMUNITY IN ANDERSON, SC. THIS HOME IS 3 BR. 2 BATHS FULL BRICK PLAN.
THE BASIC CONSTRUCTION WAS OKAY, BUT THE INTERIOR FINISH WAS TERRIBLE. THE HARDWOOD FLOORS STILL SQUEEK PRETTY MUCH THROUGHOUT.
AN INFERIOR FAUCET INSTALLED IN THE KITCHEN STARTED LEAKING DURING THE NIGHT AND SUBSEQUENTLY CAUSED MAJOR DAMAGE TO HARDWOOD FLOORS IN THE KITCHEN. THIS WAS IN THE START OF THE 2ND YEAR OF OWNERSHIP. MY KITCHEN FLOORING REQUIRED CONSIDERABLE REPLACEMENT.
NOW I HAVE DRYWALL SPLITTING IN THREE PLACES IN THE GARAGE CEILING. I CALLED BRAD (THE OWNER) AND DID NOT RECEIVE A COURTESY CALL FROM ANYONE AT THE OFFICE.
IT WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO GET MY SODDED YARD TO GROW BECAUSE THE IRRIGATION SYSTEM WAS IMPROPERLY INSTALLED. WATER FOR THE BACK YARD RAN INTO A DITCH INSTEAD OF ON THE GRASS.
THESE ARE JUST A FEW OF THE ITEMS THAT OCCURED IN MY HOME.. HOMES IN THIS COMMUNITY ARE PRICED UP TO $265,000. THIS BUILDER SHOULD HAVE DELIVERED MY HOME IN BETTER INITIAL QUALITY.
