By KronzekOctober 4, 2018Re-roof a house$7,000
Apex / Westergard finished my roof project but didn't get the final inspection done. He never told me there was no final inspection but he sure did collect all his money when he was done. Fortunately, the county notified me there was no final inspection so I had to chase after him to get the permit finalized. It took phone calls, texts, etc to get him moving. Though he promised to keep me in the loop, he never did. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and on the very day he got the complaint, he left me a nasty voice message that ended with "Have a nice F'ing day."
I would never use Apex again nor would I ever recommend Westergard to anyone. -
By Susan M.June 11, 2018roof repair ahead of home sale$1,850
He came well referred and called promptly and offered a firm quote. Even asked to return to property to confirm work scope prior to starting. Very professional on the phone. Looking forward to updating review once the repair is in progress.

NEVER SHOWED UP FOR THE JOB, NEVER CALLED TO SAY WHY, NEVER TEXTED BACK WHEN I ASKED WHY HE NEVER SHOWED UP. FIND ANY OTHER ROOFER OUT THERE THAT WILL AT LEAST CALL YOU AND SHOW UP. THIS WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

OUTSTANDING COMPANY! Eric the owner, does just what he says and with the highest of quality. All his workers were super and very hard working.Good price and the best of materials. Not a company to just sell you a new roof if the old can be repaired with high exceptions for lasting. First on my list for great companies.

Eric Westergard? How much good can you say about one person? I like the fact that he's originally from the Midwest, so am I. He was very easy to talk to and establish what my needs were. Back about 10 years ago, we just happened to stumble onto Eric when my girlfriend's parents' house needed some serious roof patching. He and a 3 man crew came out right away and looked the issue over (we had a leak that we couldn't ID that was damaging the interior wall and ceiling of the garage). They found the source of the leak in minutes and began the repair. We had thought that we were going to have to pay a couple thousand, at least. It cost us $1200. Two weeks later, Eric was back out there, checking the repair to make sure that was still holding and to check on the drywall repair of the guy that he had recommended. No charge for the visit and the repair was holding up, perfectly, as well as the drywall repair. All in all, we were very satisfied with Eric. Flash forward 10 year to 3 days ago. In our own home where had a guy pressure cleaning our roof. After he was done, he told us about several roof tiles being broken and recommended a roofer to call. When we had bought our current home two years ago, we were told by the seller that she had just paid to have the roof replaced nine months prior. I dug Eric's phone number out of my contacts and texted him about our issue. He called me back yesterday to say that he was just leaving a job in Delray and would I like him to come by? Absolutely. He was there in 15 minutes and up on his ladder. Two minutes later, he was done. He said that I had no broken tiles, just a few with the corners broken off but, since there was the four inch overlap by the tile above and below, it wasn't a concern. No charge, at all. My girlfriend and I had thought that we might be looking at an expensive repair based on how the pressure washer had characterized it. We confessed our relief to Eric, who grinned and stated that, unfortunately, nine out of ten roofers would likely build the damage up to able to charge a few hundred to replace some tiles but, that he didn't work like that. I can't recommend Eric strongly enough. If you want an honest roofer, look no further.
