do NOT recommend. They are just after the insurance money, over charge for services. You are better off to find a LOCAL roofer. There communications is beyond subpar. Contract in July - after given choices of shingles told we would have to do a different color due to availability or wait - we waited - roof done in early Oct, gutters not finished until late December early January. Held one set of documents almost 90 days couldn't get anyone to pick it up. Struggled to get "FINAL" billing - a year and a half later get correspondence they want another +$1800 from the homeowner after allegedly settling on an overpriced final bill with insurance, and now they wont stop contacting us for money we don't believe we owe.
Our first time using a roofing company like this (not our first roof but newer to the area at the time) - advise = NEVER sign a form that gives permission for that company to be the middle man to "help" deal with the insurance. save yourself headaches and your insurance company thousands and get a local roofer (a couple estimate) and leave it between you - the mortgage- and the local guy. Then if you can't reach them you could drive to there place of business. The work itself was standard and thus far no complaints with the actual roof applied - they were not as good at the clean up as some reviews have indicated. -

I hired apex roofing and remodeling for the purpose of representing my property claim. David was able to obtain and insurance approval for my roof replacement in the mist of the insurance carrier declaring bankruptcy. Scott back at the office will expedited the logistics of the production process before having Chris and his crew deliver the roof with a very keen attention to detail. Thank you everyone over at Apex for your hard work

Apex Roofing did a great job on my house. The cleanup was better than a lot of roofers
Apex did exactly what they said they would do. After everything was finished one of their inspectors came back and did a walk-through with me to make sure it was to my satisfaction

Apex Roofing and Restoration LLC replaced the roof on my home in The Villages, Florida, on April 1 and 2, 2021. The following is a true reflection on my experiences.
Negatives:
1. Not one member of the actual roofing team spoke English. Though Apex works hard to establish and maintain lines of communication, this still presented some difficulties.
2. Cleanup was OK, but not great. For a month after the job was completed, we continued to find nails and roofing rubbish around our yard. These items were blown off the roof by wind and rain.
Positives:
1. At all points, Apex was prompt, scheduling our job in the first available slot after my insurance claim was processed.
2. Apex interfaced seamlessly with my insurance company so that we received the maximum benefit on my claim.
3. Apex secured all appropriate permits.
4. Apex quickly responded to repair minor installation problems within a day.
5. As promised, Apex reinstalled our Directv antenna promptly. TV was interrupted for only two days.
6. As promised, Apex saw that our lightning protection system was re-installed within a week.
7. My new roof is attractive, neat and well-constructed.
Overall, I am very pleased with Apex and the job they did. I would give the company a rating of 95%, which is probably as good as any company would receive for doing such a complicated job. Also, speaking to my neighbors, I believe that Apex may have done a better job than other companies that were doing roofing work on our street this past spring. -

Admittedly, I am a skeptic. So, when I was approached by David ( salesman for Apex Roofing) about how I might recieve a new roof, due to some wind damage, for the cost of my home insurance deductable, I just rolled my eyes and let him talk. I listened to everything he had to say, and, I did exactly what he told me to do. I am SO glad I did! He was very informative and professional. I honestly expected lies, but, EVERYTHING that he told me was the ABSOLUTE TRUTH! He did tell me that we could run into resistance (we did, the initial offer from my insurance was about 3500 LESS the 2500 deductable, so a NET 1000). Scott, the General Mgr tried to negotiate ( he said he is usually about 50% sucessful) but was still denied. No worries, their attorneys took control, and, not only did I get a new, upgraded roof (heavy duty dimensional shingles vs. the plain 3 tab shingles original to the roof), I also had the entire roof re-decked with plywood AND a new gutter system that I never had before!!! ALL for the price of the deductible! The roofing crew were highly skilled and professional. (Oh, did I mention that I used to be a project Mgr for a roofing company in Orlando?) Even I was impressed with their work and efficiency. The entire job including rip off of old roof, drip edge, dry in and new shingle installation, INCLUDING all carpentry work to re deck the roof, took a day and a half! Chris, the General superintendent, was friendly, professional, and informative. Scott, the General manager, guided me through the entire process. I am very, very pleased! So, if you are lucky enough to get a sales call from Apex Roofing, take a few minutes and LISTEN,I promise you, it will prove to be worth your while!

Apex is a general contractor and sublets roofers to do the job . Getting people at apex to answer phone calls or paperwork takes too long ! Signed contract October 2020 did not get roof done until April with no communication . They say they had extra to do and instead of calling insurance they wanted owner to pay . Beware of apex they do not communicate well .

BEWARE!!! A-Pex ruined my house! When the roof was stripped to only plywood, it started raining hard. They literally had no tarps! So, it literally started raining inside every room in my house! The workers do not speak English so, I called the office. They promised tarps will be there in 10 min. No one ever came! Water was pouring out of my ceilings, through my walls, all my electrical outlets, light switch outlets, A/C ducts, etc.! They promised to repair everything. Yeah right... They sent sub contractors who also didn't speak English! They're repairs were band aids only! All they did was paint over the water damaged spots on my ceiling! The one spot that was so bad, they only cut a piece of dry wall out to replace it because it had mold. The insulation fell down completely consumed with mold! They never did anything with any outlets, A/C ducts etc. Also, there's over spray of paint on my walls, light fixtures, fans, etc. My garage floor has white paint everywhere! Now, they refuse to do the repairs correctly as promised! There's so much more to write that's just horrible! So, they submitted that everything in my house is completed as far as all the repairs and closed the case!
I'm writing this, not only because they're beyond terrible but, we just had a hail storm (up to 2" of hail balls) so, I imagine some of you may need new roofs. HUGH suggestion: Do NOT sigh an AOB with them! Use any other roofing company! Seriously, A-Pex doesn't care about you or your home! They only want $! -

Our roof was replaced by Apex in November 2020 and since then it has been a challenge to get documents from Apex such as pictures of the work done, wood replaced, copy of the additional claim to our insurance company, itemized bill and replies to our questions. It should not be such a hassle to get these documents since we are the homeowners and have a right to them. When their sales person came to our home back in October 2020 to sign the contract he assured us that Apex would handle and submit any claims directly to our insurance company. We have spoken to our Insurance Company on numerous occasions and since we signed an assignment of benefits with Apex we cannot submit an additional claim to them. We are carbon copied on their correspondence to Apex. Apex refused to submit the claim to our insurance carrier for the wood that was used during our roof replacement. We have requested to speak with a manager about this and keep getting the runaround. Only on 3/12/2021, four months after our roof replacement did Erin Shields email us with a basic response with no resolution. Erin didn't even have the courtesy to give us a call regarding the matter. We have left messages with several employees and nothing has been resolved and still no claim has/was sent to our Insurance company for the wood used. Apex CANNOT ASSUME our insurance company will deny the claim. They are the ones that need to review and make that determination. My husband spoke to our insurance company last week and they stated since Apex settled the claim they can't submit any additional claims regarding the wood. She stated that they have had a lot of homeowners in the same situation as ours that the companies don't submit all the documents before they settle and close the claim. Today 3/29/2021 Erin once again emailed saying our insurance carrier has denied our additional wood replacement supplement when in fact that is not true. They NEVER submitted the claim for the wood used. Once again no phone call from Apex and no resolution. Apex has received over $12K from our insurance company and it is not right that they just "wash" their hands with this situation. We have copies of all emails, documents and requests we have sent to Apex and still have no resolution. We DO NOT recommend Apex to anyone and have requested a phone call from them to discuss how to resolve this matter immediately so we no longer have to deal with Apex's horrible customer service.

I highly recommend Apex. They were polite and professional and the roof looks great! There was some inadvertant damage to pool screens and other items and they stepped right up to make it right.

By John C.July 24, 2020Replace Roof$21,000
Apex Roofing did a fine job on our roof....but they damaged our stamped concrete driveway, smashed a downspout, bent a garage light, and were careless with some kind of substance that killed the tops off of several bushes. It's been three weeks now and nobody has taken care of anything. I can cut them some slack on the driveway because that requires the original company to come out, but the downspout is such a simple repair and their promises have been lies. I was able to bend the light back in shape but it shows how careless they were, someone must have been on a ladder and leaned heavily against it. I'd look elsewhere if I could do it over.

I would definitely recommend Apex Roofing. My home is in Del Tura. The salesmen, supervisors and foremen were very professional and answered or quickly returned my calls. But most important of all is the workers. They arrived early and worked thru out the day (90 + degrees) stopping only for brief breaks and lunch, I was very impressed with them. Tarps were spread to catch debris and at the end of each day everything was cleaned up ( swept, lawn raked, and more). The quality of material, workmanship, and customer service was above and beyond my expectations.

By James W.May 14, 2019Roof replacement$25,300
My home is in Gulf Shores, AL. John Ireland of Apex stopped by one day and asked if he could give me a free inspection and estimate of my roof. I agreed and his inspection team found wind and hail damage. John attentively led me through the insurance claim process in April, 2019. He was very patient in explaining the steps involved and his team assisted in the inspection and estimation process with my insurance adjuster. After claim approval they scheduled my replacement project promptly. The roofing team showed up in force (14 I believe) on the day planned and only took 2 days to complete my somewhat complex and steep roof. They use quality materials and met the special roofing codes that are required here at the coast. John even came back by after the installation to pick up stray nails so as to avoid any injuries or car tire accidents. John and his team get the highest marks for their planning, organization, and customer care skills! I highly recommend them!

Apex Roofing replaced my neighbors roof and when they were cleaning up afterwards, i happened to be working in my yard...they pointed out to me that I had the same wind damage to my shingles resulting from winds accompanying recent violent thunderstorms. It was obvious my shingles had been peeled back, for lack of better words, once the damage was pointed out to me. I walked the roof with them and it was worse than I'd ever expected. I had 100+ mph rated shingles, but at 14 years old and being located by the water, I guess they deteriorated faster. Well, thanks to Apex's guidance and helping with insurance correspondence, I have a new roof with 115+mph shingles and I upgraded to a 30 year non-prorated warranty for hardly any money. I've owned 5 homes and had many roof replacements and not once had a roofing contractor ever mentioned other warranty options. Thank you Apex
