Lead abatement and painting of elementary school
    90 days

All personnel failed to wear PPE during lead abatement or Parkview Elementary in Chico Ca.

The company used a dry scraper on lead paint with no tarps to collect chips. Cleaning up the mess by dry sweeping.

Inadequacy in the use of hazard signs and tape caused the landscaping crew to come in with a leaf blower and further spread lead dust.

One employee made a tacit threat to a photographer documenting the project.

The contamination they caused by not sequestering the paint chips and allowing them to spread across the campus plus the use of dry sweeping is causing the school to undergo widespread lead testing in the solid contaminated by this company.
