I had a terrible experience. I purchased my pool from The Great Escape; Aqua Installs was the contractor that they forced on me. The pre-install visit/servey was relegated to an inexperinced worker who was “sent here by my boss”. I did not hear anything back for 10 days, then I called him. We discussed the work to be done; in particular, a couple of additional items relative to my job consisting of a pool replacement.
The day of the actual install, they showed up at sunset to begin the job, The workers disregarded all of the arrangements that I had discussed on the phone. The original pool was built into a slope and was surrounded by river rock, which was to be pulled back so that the slope could be dug back to provide clearance for the new installation. The workers instead just three the dirt all over the river rock, creating a wonderful mix of rock and clay.
The actual pool installation was poor quality, with wrinkles and divots in the liner and sand bottom. They could not even line up the supports and top rails in a way that would leave an open section where the ladder from my existing deck is located.
To complete demonstration of their incompetence, they installed the pool surround fencing with a huge gap that no building code on earth would find acceptable, and refused to fix it.
I would never use this contractor for any type of work. EVER.

There's no nice way to say it. I bought my pool from The Great Escape and they used these guys to put it in. First, they are hard to get a hold of and don't communicate very well. When I finally did get on the schedule, they came out and Tom, the owner, ended up cutting through my cable line and cracking landscaping bricks with his bobcat. When I called him out on it, all he could say was call the cable company to replace the cable and the bricks would be easy for me to put back together. Fast forward a year, and my pool liner has holes in it. I had a different company out, and they showed me how the original installer didn't use nearly enough sand for my yard and the reason for the holes is because the posts are sticking through. I would never recommend these clowns to my worst enemy.

Highly recommended! I purchased my above-ground through The Great Escape who recommended Aqua Installs. They were very busy but managed to get my pool in within 2 weeks of purchase. Donna was very helpful with some permit red tape and the owner Tom really knows his stuff. On install day, they were done in 3 hours. A great group of people.

Excellent service! Installed pool on originally scheduled date. Prior to the install, they were very helpful in answering any questions I had. I was in constant communication with Tom and Donna, either by phone, email or text for several day before our installation. We were scheduled for install July 3rd, and even considering the holiday weekend and all the rain in the area they kept me updated throughout the 1st & 2nd.
During the survey and installation they very efficient, cleaned up the area, and took the time to explain everything to me before leaving.
Tom's team was very easy to work with and we were very satisfied with the job they performed.
We would hire them again!

Terrible service, today I was suppose to get my pool installed. I took the day off work to be here for it, Tom the Owner of Aqua Pool Install. Called me first thing this morning at 7:45 telling me he will be at my house around 1:30 to install after his install in Aurora telling me it will take about 5 in a half hours to install. 2:30 rolled around and no call, I called Tom to confirm and to let him know it started raining by my house. He said he was finishing up in Aurora and will be done in 15 mins and will be by me in about an hour and ten mins. 4:45 rolls around and he finally calls and asks me about the dish I want for the pool to be Deeper in the middle. He had nothing prepared and told me if I want the dish he has to get his Cousin's excavating company the next day to come out for another $350! Then he tells me he will be at my house by 5:25 and the pool should only take 3 hours, I told him I don't want my pool to be rushed and half assed. He sounds like a stoner punk on the phone and thinks it's all fun and games and does not take it seriously. I also didn't want my pool to be installed in the dark. I'm a very disappointed customer at this point. They showed up to the house at 6:15. My Fiancé kicked them out and said we're not doing it. We've contacted The Great Escape numerous occasions and still not much help from them.

I highly recommend Aqua Installs. They spent the day at my house doing landscaping work.

I would never recommend this company to anyone. These guys don't answer the phone they never call you back and are just not very trust worthy. In the contract you sign for what your going to pay is the digging and dirt removal. They dug my backyard and refused to remove the dirt saying they wanted to save me money, well I had to find someone to come out and it was $300 more than it would have been if they removed it. I had to replace 3 hoses on the filter and 3 from the heater. After I find out I wasn't losing the water because of the hoses I found out I had 3 holes in my liner and I called aqua installs and said I need them fixed and they told me I took too long to call and they would not fix it. If you buy a pool from the great escape tell them you do not want aqua installs to do your pool because that's who they sub contract too.

Worst company I ever dealt with. Had excavator dig out the pool, delivered sand and block and never came back to install the pool. Claimed they didn't know how but would come back on a particular day with another more qualified installer. Never showed up and didn't return any calls. I'm sitting with a hole in the ground and sand pile on my drive and no pool.

When purchasing a pool from Great Escape the install would be done by Great Escape sub contractors. When I spoke to them about the contractor I was told that the contractor would be coming out of Illinois due to the contractors in this area (In) did not meet the expectations that the Great Escape expects. Aqua Installs did my install and if this is what is setting the bar then I have serious doubt if the Great Escape will be in business a year from now. I work with contractors daily and Aqua Installs would rank in the top 2 worst I have ever had the misfortune of working with. Tom the leader/owner of Aqua Install is only worried about how fast he can put up the pool to get to the next pool. There is absolutely ZERO focus on QUALITY. Tom would not answer his phone, did not return calls and did not due what was discussed as part of the job. I opted to pay the installer to dig my site so there would be no problems on install day. Big mistake on my part. We did have some ground water issue that was not his fault but he did not over dig enough for me to get my perimeter drain in. He left to go install other pools then didn’t come back for 3 days. Meanwhile I had Dubry Installations come and fix the hole Tom left in my yard. Tom showed back up around 5:00pm after he was supposed to be there first thing in the morning on Sunday for my install and assembled the pool. He didn’t finish until after dark around 10:00pm. When I went out the next day I noticed that one of the blocks was the wrong height and the top rail of the pool had a very noticeable dip in it. I called him and he came back and fixed the height of the block and said we must have missed that one when we were checking them with the laser. Probably the single most important part of installing a pool is double checking that everything is level. Also 6 of the caps were installed wrong and had 3/4” gaps that looked terrible. I personally fixed these myself. Absolutely no quality or attention to detail. Just get in and get out with this guy. When a person invests 10k or more I would think he deserves some quality professionals. I will say this IS NOT AQUA INSTALLS. My recommendation to anyone would be do not let this company on your property!! I should have known when he pulled up with all rental equipment this crew was a joke. When you have nothing invested you have nothing to lose ..... BEWARE OF AQUA INSTALLS
