  Painting the exterior of my house and garage

  I have had a terrible experience with Ariel, the owner of AR Quality Painting. After meeting him at my property and explaining all the job details to him, he sent the quotation to me days later. After our agreement with the price (including labor & materials), I decided to hire him to paint the exterior of my house and garage. We set the start day & time for powerwash. The night before the start date, he called me & told me that he didn’t want to do the job. I was shocked to hear that. In reality, I found out that was his trick to ask for more money. I compromised with his request that I would pay for the materials and the price be his labor only.
  Then we set up a date for powerwash after my trip. That morning, I woke up early for his arrival. He called me 15 minutes before the start time and told me that he didn’t want to do the job. Again??? Yes, he did that to me again!!! This time, he used the same trick wanting to eliminate the repair work with Bondo on my sidings. The night before, we went through all the job details on the phone, and he agreed to do this repair. I was floored by what I heard from him. After negotiating with him, he agreed to come to do the job at lunchtime. He neither showed up nor called me. I waited until 3:00 p.m. and called him. He didn’t answer my call. So I texted him. Then he replied to me that he wasn’t going to do the job and told me to find other painters.
  He is a game player. He has no consideration of others’ time. He neither honors his words nor keeps his promises. Whatever he promises you that he will do, he will flip and not do it. He is the most unreliable, irresponsible, and unprofessional contractor. He would keep playing games with his customers to get his way and more money. He even told me that he never signs contracts with his customers. Don’t be fooled by him. That’s his way of setting the stage for asking for more money during the work process. Please avoid Ariel and his company and don’t hire him. He has no shame, is unethical, and will screws you big time. BE HIGHLY ALERT OF THIS CONTRACTOR.
