By CindyJune 28, 2017Ceiling fan$100
AHS home warranty sent this incompetent company to my house to fix my ceiling fan that is falling out of the ceiling. I also had a wobbly fan for him to check. He poked and prodded the wobbly fan stated it was old and cheap that's why it wobbles. (Fyi that is not the proper way or reasonable explanation for a ceiling fan to wobble). He said the other ceiling fan was improperly installed with a fan box that did not meet code. He would have to cut a big hole in the ceiling to install a new fan box which I would be responsible to repair along with being responsible for purchasing a fan box that meets code. (Fyi you don't have to cut a huge hole in the ceiling to remove and reinstall a fan box or fan and the fan box was coded). He took pictures said he would send them to AHS to see if the work was covered and never called back. Unfortunately I am out 100 dollars for the service call, I didn't contact AHS in the allotted time to get a second opinion ,free if the diagnosis is different, so they offered me a cash payout - not enough to cover the work that needs done or the option to pay a second service call for a different electrician. Note to Home Warranty Customers if they try to send this company request a different company Arbuckle has proven over and over to be highly incompetent.

By J. J.June 6, 2017$75
I contacted my home warranty company, American Home Shield in the Spring of 2017 to get electrical work done, and they engaged Arbuckle Electric, who sent out Bob. He looked at some of the jobs we had (broken heater switch, malfunctioning overhead kitchen light). He said the work could be completed but needed parts, and told me he would check on it and call back. He took my $75 but never followed up. I have called 8 times over 2 months and never got an answer, never got a call back. It is now June of 2017. I don't think they intend to do the work at all. I called American Home Shield to report him, and they said they are having problems with him as well and cannot contact him.

I would recommend looking elsewhere. Bob and his team did some work for me through our home warranty so he wasn't my choice. He mentioned I could go buy the parts and he would reimburse me after the work was done. 2 months later and I still don't have the check. I called and left messages a number of times and still no call back. It's kind of strange that for a business they never pick the phone, but maybe they screen all their calls. I'm sure I'm not the only one calling to collect/get reimbursed. I never thought a business would screw me over for less than $100, but I guess that's the type of business Bob runs.

August 2018 - I have a American Home Shield home warranty plan. I had a fan that was squeaking. My home warranty company sent Arbuckle Electric out. Zack Arbuckle came out. He asked to use my ladder. He said that the fan would need to be replaced. I went and got a new fan and called them back to re-install it. Zack came back out, and asked to use my ladder again. He got up there and put WD40 on it, and said it was not squeaking anymore. I had also done the same thing with no avail. He said that if it started squeaking again, they would not charge me for another service charge. Immediately after he left, the fan started squeaking again. I called Zack and he came back out. At this point everyone in the company was answering their phone. Zack came out to install the fan, and asked to use my ladder again. When he put the ladder back against the wall in my garage next to my freezer, he did not lift it up to go over the extension cord. Needless to say it slide back and opened up my freezer. I did not realize this till days later and lost everything that was in my freezer. I called and spoke to Bob Arbuckle and Danielle who answers the phone. They apologized and sent Zack out to take pictures of the food that was spoiled. Bob said that they would send a check for the amount of food that was spoiled. Well this has been since August 10, 2018, and I still have not received a check for the spoiled food. At this point they will not answer my phone calls. I have called Bob, Danielle and Zack almost weekly since Zack came out to take pictures, and they have not returned my call. I spoke with my warranty company and they said that they have put this company on hold. Assuming for customers that were not satisfied. My warranty company has also tried to get ahold of Arbuckle Electric on two different occasions with no avail. I am still unsure why an electric company would ask the homeowner to use their ladder. Assuming he just did not want to deal with taking his off the truck. If you are ever even considering this company, do your research. Again, they were very accommodating at first always answering phones calls or calling me back. I just wish I would of read all the negative reviews before they came out.
