had this company come to evaluate my pool heater at one point via home warranty, the tech spent only a few minutes looking at the heater, then asked me to wait for feedback from my home warranty company. won't tell me what is wrong, most likely he had no clue what is wrong. later home warranty informed me the tech claim the heater had "water damage" and service not covered. I thought, the heater was outdoor, that could be true. I later left several message for this company to call me back to discuss his findings in more detail and to do some repair or even replacement, never got a call back. the tech told my warranty company his service was completed at the same time he submitted his findings. Later, I had a tech from a different company come for a different issue, the tech looked at my heater on the side, immediately he knew the temperature sensor had gone bad, and it was a easy fix. what a difference! I almost replaced the pool heater because of the first tech from Archer, IMHO, the Archer tech has very poor knowledge about his trade. he was also unprofessional for not responding calls. I wound not recommend this company to anybody.

This company is contracted by my home warranty AHS. My pool filter has not been working correctly for several months. Requested service through the home warranty in August. When they came out the stated nothing was wrong accept the sand in the filter needed to be changed. We changed it. Filter still did not work after two months of putting in chemicals and the pool continued to turn green. Request service from the home warranty again and the send Archer. The report stated that I have neglected and abused my pool. I hire another company not contracted with the warranty, they come out and find two different leaked in the filter. I’m fact, when the turn the pump on the water is visibly shooting out of the side of the filter. The filter has most likely been leaking for months. Which has now resulted in a green pool that will have to be drained, acid washed, and repaired. Do not use this company. They do not know how to diagnose problems with pool equipment

They were hired through my home warranty company and came out to look at the issue. After initial visit, they never returned to make the repairs, never responded to messages or phone calls and closed our ticket. We never got the repair fixed & had to submit a new warranty ticket which cost more money

This contractor was under contract with my home protection insurance company, American Home Shield & I still believe they made a rush judgment & misdiagnosed my pool digital display that stopped working.
American Home Shield readily declared my service request as UNCOVERED based on Archer's advice leaving me with a non-refundable $100 service fee that AHS charge upfront prior to the service visit
Archer won't & didn't entertain my request for reconsideration & for them to correct their flawed. findings & insisted the damage was not through wear & tear & therefore, as they insisted NOT COVERED.
There are evidence that the damage was directly caused otherwise by broken plastic seals protecting the digital board inside which seals are prone to breakage- & cracking through NORMAL use & therefore is wear & tear.
ARCHER company in my opinion did not act prudently & professionally in handling the initial diagnosis & should have done reevaluation to confirm that their findings are in fact correct
Making rush judgment in the part of these contractors does not bode well for this company and more so on the Home Protection Insurance companies they're under contract with.
I am not surprised if their reviews reflect low ratings in overall performance against their competition.
AHS needs more careful screening of its contractors to provide true professional service to its clients.
