Run from this builder. Home was not completed on time and we were lied to with excuse after excuse as to why the home would not be finished on time. Do not trust them.

We where under contract with architerra homes. After being lied to again and again we had to walk away after 10 months. They where going to need another 3 months to finish our house putting the total build time at 13 months. They where horrible at communication with us sent our for reengineering with out talking to us about it and set us back 30 days from the start. Then we waited for them to start digging and our house was going to be 150-180 from dig. We where told this was the timeline all along. We should of been in our home in December we finally terminated the contact in February. In the meantime interest rates have been on the rise and it was going to cost us another 12,000 to buy the interest rate down to where it would of been in December, when they told us our house would of been done. This was our breaking point!! I hate putting out bad reviews, but just want to give some information to other potential home buyers from our experience.

Architerra built our home, and the experience was nothing shy of fantastic. As one of the only production builders that allows for modifications, the process was as seamless as could be. As anyone that has built a house knows, it's not IF there will be issues that need addressing, it's HOW they handle the issue. Architerra was always fully transparent on issues, and were willing to work through solutions. I feel that my wife and I are fairly particular in our tastes, and Architerra was very willing to work with us on accommodating our desires into our build. From a timing standpoint, not only was Architerra on time, but actually ahead of schedule from our originally communicated completion timeline. I would reccommend Architerra to anyone that is looking at building a new home. As someone that has built a few homes in the past, this, by far, was the best experience we have had.
